One Bag Banger
This bag has made one bagging feasible for me, and has travelled to Europe, and a number of domestic trips. It has a very good capacity, with one pocket being accessible from inside, outside, and runs the whole height, as well as the main compartment. All the zippers feel good. It seems well built, no issues in the 6 months I've had it. The straps, ands how the load sit, are very nice.

Great Travel back pack
Nice addition to my DaKine Rolling bags. I like the fact that you can slide this on the luggage handle when you don’t want it on your back. Perfect backpack for a few day getaway. Plenty of compartments and storage. Well thought out and compartments are easily accessible.

Just right organization
The fabric, style and organization of this deep blue Dakine split 38l bag are great. The main compartment has one big section and then two smaller sections that face the front. This split design is appealing to me, but the main compartment did seem like it was just a smidge shallow. In return though the two smaller sections actually hold a fair amount. The zippered mesh top of the main compartment can act a bit as a built in packing cube. The bottom shoe pocket was just wide enough I could fit my size 13 men’s shoes in sideways, so it aced that test. Note the shoe pocket when in use eats into the main compartment space, but when not in use the shoe pocket liner is thin and out of the way. I could fit my shoes and clothes for a four day trip in. It’s hard to tell from the pictures, but the vertical zipper on the front of the bag accesses one of the smaller interior sections. You could easily store headphones, snacks or a light jacket in there.. The compression straps help to reduce the volume if the bag isn’t full, and the fabric is strong enough that the bag has quite a bit of structure even when empty.

Stay away from dakine.
One of the strap ripped off my back when I was getting it out of my ride-share. Dakine has been going down hill in their quality since 2017. Never buying this brand any longer. My dakine split baggage I bought in 2015 is still going strong. And a backpack I bought in 2003 is still going strong. Time to find a better company to get bags from.

Awesome for traveling
I only ordered this because my 15 year old Dakine favorite laptop backpack finally gave up the ghost. I knew I was going for the same brand this time. I travel a lot and nothing is built as smart or as sturdy as Dakine. I love the new feature of the strap for attaching it to my rolling luggage. I just used it to travel around Spain. It holds everything separately for electronic device safety, and has multiple access zippers for easy use.
