Just use a good quality essential oil as per your need...Don't use a poor quality aroma or fragrance oil. The chandan (sandalwood) oil which comes with the product is not an essential oil, that's just a fragrance oil. I have bought a fragrance oil called "Ocean" from amazon, which has a hair oil fragrance, has no benefit actually...Also bought "Organix Mantra" Lavender essential oil which is an essential oil...Not promoting "Organix Mantra" products, just sharing my own experience...I am using Lavender as per my need you should buy according to your need. Another thing, buy essential oils of only ISO certified company otherwise that might be a diluted, duplicate or even just a fragrance oil with no effect. Frequently change the brand of the essential oil to compare one to another...

I wanted to give 5 stars but I gave 4 stars only because I received the product in a slightly damaged state. The wick holder was disconnected from the diya, the welding was broken. I fixed it using industrial glue and it was good to go. I have used both ghee and oil for diya and both of them burned without remnants and this is unlikely in a place where I stay as it is very cold here and normal diyas go out after lighting half of the oil or ghee as they solidify. The tea light holder is intelligently placed which can be screwed in and out of the wick holder. I all very happy to buy.

It is of good quality, however I expected a lj even better finish. I like the minimalistic look of this diya, also should be easy to clean. The packaging was good, it came in thermocol packing to protect the glass. They have provided the cotton wick, a small piece of kapur and sandalwood frangrance which is nice. Would recommend this if you are looking for a modern looking diya and especially if you are keeping in shelf and are worried about the heat from the flame damaging it.

Very good item for someone looking to make their surrounding more relaxed and calm. You can light this in couple of different ways. But I prefer the one which uses diya and aromatic oil. Just make sure your room isn’t too big if you are using for personal. Also try not to use pungent oils for fragrance. Keep it as close to natural as possible. Amazon delivery was very slow for this!! It’s worth the wait I guess

Decent size. Works very well. Love how it uses a wick and oil or it can be converted to use tea lights. Came with wicks and sandalwood fragrance from the seller.One complaint is that the highly relfective nickel surface on top is prone to tarnish from weak acids like vinegar and can be easily scratched. Do not use a scouring pad to wash. Otherwise very satisfied with the product.

I think it's a great idea to combine a diya with a diffuser. One reason is because a diya burns much longer than a wax candle besides being cheaper.The main problem I had with the piece that I got was that the glass did not fit in snugly in the bottom container. I could've returned it, but I was desperate to get I working. I ended up cracking the glass trying to fit it. I replaced the glass with one from another lamp.The nickel retains its shine even after daily use.

I am giving 3 points for packaging. Top lid had scratches, not a good quality. I do not have time to return it now so I can just vent out my anger in the feedback. It is quite big in size and looks slightly different from picture. I will post pictures later for sure. I guess it was a very old stock that is why top disc appeared scratched. I will still recommend it if there was a proper quality check from seller.

Quality is ok as is seen in the picture, it does the job only thing I was not happy was with the size, I bought this only because I thought it was large and paid more thinking it will be big even though my other purchases for similar products were cheaper with much better designs and the same size as this. Please do not list this as large if it is not but small.
