I've always used secondskin or dermalize but wanted something more budget friendly for home. This works exactly as described and unlike dermalize I've not had any rashing and it's slightly easier to remove!Tips for best application-Cut it to size, it can peel at the edges if you use a giant pieceSkin needs to be dry not slathered in creams and stay dry after applying allowing the film to bond to the skin and create a tight seal.Try and keep clothing and water off it so that the skin does not sweat under the bandage (I did not notice any scent but I saw some people did)To remove, press down with one hand and gently stretch the film rather than pulling it like you would a bandaid. I found it so much more gentle to remove the dermalize which was a relief!Absolutely would recommend and with proper application it lasted the full five days. Would never go without it!

Gave this item 4 star as ut did a great job protecting my tattoo for the 4 days I had it on; no need to constant wash & cream. You can get on with your life.However I just removed it tonight and it’s a pain! Not sure if I’ll use it again.Mine is a big peace: used 4 sheets to cover my back and my arms. But to remove it is quite painful! And my skin looks soo dry! Even after shower and cream quite dry. Not sure if it started peeling off or is still a bit of the glue coming off...My skin felt a bit sticky even after shower...as I did not rub on it just gently washed it away.Guess it’s excellent if you have to protect your tattoo against dustOr at work place can’t wash / moisturize it...As I said 4 days perfectly fine! But this 10 mins of removing it really makes me think if I’ll use it again...

I’ve only just started using this method when healing tattoos, and I have to say, I won’t do it any other way.The patches are a decent size and easy to apply. The only con I would say is that the patches sometimes don’t stick down on the edges, probably due to plasma leakage. 99.9% of the patch stays on and I can generally wear them for around 3 days.They don’t leave any nasty red marks on your skin, and it isn’t total agony to peel it off (warm soapy water soak helps when removing)Highly recommend this brand!

This product looked amazing when it arrived, and of course, before buying, I did my research to make sure it was okay to use for my tattoo! Well... within 20 minutes of applying the thing, my skin started to feel like it was burning. I let it be but woke up in the night with the same burning sensation, but much worse! I took off the sheet from my arm, (it was very difficult to take off), and it had left my arm and tattoo with burn blisters. Really disappointed. I’ve washed the tattoo thoroughly since, and applied coco butter.... just hope that this can save my tattoo! The product itself seems like an amazing idea, but it seems it has a tendency to cause allergic reactions (see other reviews)...

Scent is neutral, stays on for 24-48 hours depending on where you place it. We use it for finger tattoos and were they tricky to get on, but once they were on they stayed secure until we took them off.

Definitely the best tattoo film out there. It adheres brilliantly, as long as you've dried the area around the tattoo thoroughly, and it's easy to overlap. You can leave it on for up to 5 days with no irritation, so it's great value for money. The film is very discreet if you apply it correct, although by day 5 the edges will be noticeable.Ideally you want to use it from the very start, but as long as you've kept the tattoo from drying out you can apply it within the first 24hrs. I wouldn't recommend using it if the tattoo is older than that, as it will stick to the newly formed scab and you risk losing ink.

Later edit: The patches are brilliant, they are easy to apply and the skin will heal nicely.1st time I was disappointed as my partner had a skin reaction, but we tried it again in a different place and he could wear it with no problems.So.. it migt happen to have a skin reaction but overall it's a good product to heal your tattoos.

The best tattoo patches I have ever used! Stick well and protect your tattoo for hours! Probably would stay intact for more then 24h, but obviously you should wash your fresh tattoo at lest 2x a day and apply cream and fresh patch. Great product!
