I've been trying to limit the waste of my make up and nail polishing routines. Switching to these cotton buds is the way I've decided to go for cleaning up small makeup or nail polish messes. In addition to ceasing the use of cotton rounds and makeup wipes completely, it has reduced my waste a little. I use scraps of fabric, soap and water or acetone as needed for cleaning my makeup brushes, taking off my makeup or taking off my nail polish. These buds are the same shape and size as the plastic ones I've been using so far so switching was super easy. They go in the compost bin - I don't have one in my building so I take these to work where there is one. I realise not everyone has the option to compost so ask around to see if there are any options for you. The packaging does not have any plastic and buying 800 pieces in one go means less packaging altogether. They are durable and good quality so I'm very happy with them.

So pleased to have found environmentally friendly cotton buds that also don't come packed in ANY plastic! From the Amazon box right down to the cotton buds themselves the only packaging is cardboard boxes, paper cushioning, and adhesive paper-like tabs.The cotton buds themselves work well and are really durable, and are fully biodegradable made from only bamboo and organic cotton. There's no reason why these couldn't be recycled one used (check with your local council) but even if not they still replace plastic ones in landfill with natural biodegradable and compostable ones :) I fully recommend buying these, they're well worth the price!Thank you so much, Alyn! Good material

I bought these as we are trying to reduce our use of plastic and because I was fed up with how poor the plastics one are. They bend constantly and the cotton often comes off which is dangerous as it could easily get stuck in your ears. Not the case with these bamboo ones! They are so much better, the fact they are completely biodegradable is just a bonus. They don't bend at all and I don't feel worried about the cotton coming off. And then when you are done just chuck them in your food waste bin. Excellent product. The only slight negative would be the price in that it may put people off buying them when you can get 200 plastic ones for less then a pound. But in my opinion these are worth the extra money.

Soft soft soft. Earth friendly little buds made from bamboo. Even packaging is eco friendly. I bought these for my daughter and became quite envious, and I shall be buying myself some too. Eco friendly and pocket friendly which also counts. So you are not adding to the plastic waste mountains in Tahoe world or some creature swallowing a bud that’s been in the sea or ground for hundreds of years without decomposing, and it’s very economical. And they do make you feel that you are doing your part in eliminating some plastic from your life. A small product but a big change from years of plastic

I bought these in 2019!! It's now February 2021!! And just nearing in on the second box (Two were in the pack). Very well wrapped as I recall (I just think it's 'funny' when you go for an eco product and it shows up in plastic???) This was perfect.The product itself - I will say the worst first, best for last.I find the these earbuds break about every other time I use them. It's not like I'm trying to carve into stone in my ears either! I am always very careful cleaning my ears! >.< lol But they snap quite easily!!THAT Said. (I mean - you wouldn't want to allow children to use these - I'm sorry they to me, are unsafe BECAUSE they snap so easily!) BUT they HAVE lasted me THIS long. AND they aren't the usual gawd awful earbuds/cleaners and WILL go into compost. SO - to me, that outweighs the 'snapping'. Just BE careful! (I am a grandma! kids, grandkids! This would worry me *greatly* if my baby granddaughter got a hold of these!!) (We keep them up! and are in very regular use, and STILL have 1/2 a box left!! fabulous!! just be careful!!) :)

I love these buds, nice and sturdy with just enough cotton on for me. Other half would prefer them to have more cotton but I think they're perfect as is since I worry about the cotton coming off in my ears (don't fancy a trip to the docs to have them syringed ew). We use these for lots of purposes but as makeup applicators and for squeezing spots without damaging skin with nails they can't be beaten. Better than the new cardboard rod buds by far and in some ways superior to the old plastic ones.I've had these a while now and can't remember how they were packaged but the buds themselves are in strong cardboard box containers so the product itself is very environmentally friendly. Really great product. I've been using eco cotton buds for ages but these are the best I have found. Some eco buds are quite flimsy but these are sturdy with the cotton firmly fixed on. The box they come in is also sturdy and makes for a great container especially with the travelling I do. All completely plastic free and biodegradable.You also get emailed a very informative little-book all about reducing plastic waste.Really looking forward to seeing what other products this business brings out because I have no doubt they will be ethical, eco and perfect.
