How can I save battery life? They currently run out after only 2 weeks! It’s getting a bit expensive now to keep replacing them...

I'm having the same issues with mine, have tried duracell and even military grade batteries but longest they've lasted is 15 days

Is this tunel extension compatible with the petsafe ppa19-16145 microchip door flap?

Yes! It just extends the gap from the back of the flap to the front of it and fits really neatly together, we actually had to have 3 tunnel pieces as our was going through a newly built outside wall. However, we did find that we had to do some cat & dog training as they were not so keen to go through such a long crawl space straight away, one cat got it straight away but the other cat and the dachshunds were less keen, so that took about a week!

We’ve already got an outdoors cat but are about to get a house cat as well. Can I use this flap to let one cat come and go while keeping in the other?

The cat flap will allow any cat to go out but only allow entry to a cat with a microchip that it recognises.
