Simian Insulated 40oz Water Bottle Flask for Hot or Cold Drinks

The hydro flask that I owned had dropped one too many times and finally broke. I didn't want to spend another $50 on a hydro flask so I went with the Simian and I have not been disappointed. The ice stays in my flask all day and there is no condensation on the outside of my flask either. The best part is the flask was only $20. A totally reasonable price.

Great water bottle, especially for the price! Haven’t had any problems with leaking and it’s been dropped, daily! My 6th grade son carries it to school and keeps his water ice cold throughout the day and for football and wrestling practice. Ice lasts all day most days. Just depends on whether he adds more water to it or not. Does not sweat. Have not tried any hot liquids yet.

I really enjoyed this flask for the month it kept its insulation. One morning, before heading out for the day, I filled the bottle with cold water from the refrigerator as I had done many times before. About an hour later at work I picked it up to take a drink and I noticed the bottle was very cold to the touch. The water inside was barely cool, when it should have been just as cold as when I put it in there. The bottle had not been damaged in any way so it must have been due to a factory defect that it was no longer insulating.I emailed Carlton Global inquiring about Simian's factory warranty. I got an immediate response from Elaine telling me not to worry, they would be sending a replacement bottle. Great! That was back in November and the replacement has yet to arrive, even after several emails back-and-forth in which they told me it had been sent out via regular mail, which doesn't provide tracking information.I do not recommend the Simian brand nor will I buy any other products from Carlton Global.

I bought this for my husband because he does have another water bottle, but he's been using it for smoothies that he takes to work and we agreed it would be good if he had one for water as well. He really likes it. If I didn't already have a 40 oz Pogo water bottle, I would probably get this one. Maybe in the future.

I like that it's half the price of the hydroflask but because of that, the quality isn't as great I guess. I received my flask already dented on the bottom.. At least it's still usable though. I also like that it comes with a carabiner!Update: Customer service was great! They emailed me a day or two after it got delivered asking if I had received my bottle, told them that I had but it was dented, then they sent me a new one immediately. The strap snapped off after about ten months of use and still doesn't keep water cold for as long as the hydroflask, but it's a nice bottle for people who aren't super picky.

I am totally pleased with this insulated bottle. I add some ice to my ice tea at 8am and it keeps it cold to 6pm that night with ice still in the bottle.The only con is the bottle is metal and the ice makes some noise as it sloshes around inside of it.

I had very little hopes for a 4.99 water bottle but I have to say, so far I'm impressed.it has a big capacity of 1.2L and does not leak when the lid is screwed on.Please note it may be too large for some backpack bottle holders as its very thick

This is a good-sized flask. Easy to hold, easy to clean, does not leak. Keeps liquids hot for a long time. I wanted a reasonably-sized flask for long train journeys and after 6-8 hours or more the contents were still piping hot. Nice and easy to hold and to carry.

Used it today on the golf course and after 9 holes my coffee was still nice and warm which on a cold and windy Winters day was greatly appreciated.

Great flask. Bigger than I expected so would be great for use camping for hit water/ soups on long distance travels too. It keeps liquid hit for a good amount of time!

This is a nice thermos flask ,I've only used a couple of times so far but seems to do the job and keep liquids cool for a day

What's not to like great bit of kit at a fair price I've got one in each colour now

Lids hold is terrible constant issues with it just popping off and not working. On one occasion the lid poped off and caused hot tea to burn my hand not the best of products.

Wow, what a wonderful flask. It keeps everything inside exactly the temperature it was when you poured it. It does not lose heat at all. Can you the whole day while still hot. And its 1.2 liters. Amazing Amazing Amazing!

Just did not keep drinks hot for any length of time, boiling water was lukewarm within a few hours.
