Stopped headboard from being loose

Product advertised as hardwood but when they came found they were softwood not happy, seller get your fax right before advertising them.

The screw holes were not countersunk to about half the thickness of the strut (as they were in the original strut) so I had to source some larger screws. Also had to tap two new holes in the headboard as the distance between the holes in these struts was about a centimetre smaller. Not a huge problem though. The pair I received had no knots that, I understand, is a good sign.Overall these struts are fine.Ask me again in a few years.

They have a picture on there web site for a poor version and a good (there) version. Sorry to say that what I received was worse than the bad one. My 6 year old Grandson can do a better job. Very poor quality and not worth the money.

ordered this for a old bed board that had broken struts, looking for easy quick fix, but holes did not match up and screws did not fit and was two long and had no washiers as in picture with screws, so had to drill wood and buy new screws but when tryed wood split,so in the bin it went, waste of money, but it was wrapped well and quick delivered!...

This is a great product,fit for purpose

Delivery excellent from the Royal Mail.Unfortunately the product is not as good. badly finished, and as previous customers have said, not made with hardwood as picture shows, but with cheaper softwood/pine?Would not recommend this supplier.
