Decent review of the history of fiqh, just know this book is Salafi
Decent review of the history of fiqh. One issue I have is, given the Salafi tendencies here, the comment that imam Malik prayed sadl because his arms were broken 'according to some narrations," which is completely baseless and I have yet to find any narration saying that. No legitimate scholar I know, even non-Maliki scholars, agree with that statement whatsoever. The position on sadl was narrated in the Mudawana of ibn al-Qasim, one of imam Malik's greatest students who was with him for 20 years. No mention of arms being broken.I don't discard things that easily, as long as I know what I'm reading. So know what you're reading and take what is beneficial and leave that which is not. Get with a legitimate scholar so you can ask questions and set things right when studying *anything.*

Easy and Informative
Comprehensive without being exhaustive. Thank you for putting the information of how Fiqh came about and the origin of most well known Madh-habs.
