Shorts fit well, fabric is a bit thin so I'll have to see over time how they hold up. The padded liner falls way short of expectations. Biggest problem is that the waist is not high enough so when you lean over (in a riding position) your butt crack is fully exposed. The shorts are high enough to cover, but the liner is uncomfortable for this reason. Secondly the legs are too short so they ride up which causes discomfort and chaffing.Shorts would get a 4 (close to a 5) but liner is a 2.

I've been using both the bike shorts and inside padded briefs for one week on my regular 1-hour biking trips. Medium size (W31) fits well and as described. Seat cushion is thick enough to provide good protection for the butt. The shorts seem very comfortable and lightweight. The pockets aren't very deep though. Still, I'm able to carry my car keys, cash and a cell phone in the pockets while riding my bike. The shorts are breathable which allows me to stay cool when riding.

These shorts are very nice and lightweight. However, my son said the padding sat a little bit too high on his back compared to his other mtn bike shorts, so we sent them back. It could be we ordered the wrong size. He is very thin and wears 29-30x34 jeans so I bought him a 30. Perhaps a 29 would have fit him better. They are very nice quality and I may try another pair in the future.

I bought these shorts for a multi-sport trip to Croatia. I used the padded liner with the shorts several times before and during our trip and they made cycling much more comfortable. The padding was barely visible while walking around which was nice. The shorts are very functional and I worn them many times without the liner, including white water rafting. The only down side was although the shorts feel very light, they were definitely NOT quick drying. Otherwise they were well worth the money and have held up great.
