Stainless Steel Cocktail Tools, 6.3

If you're looking at this, you're probably looking at high end cooking (or bar I suppose) gadgets. I have a few Rosle things, and they're all gorgeous, well made, heavy, and work like a champ, though sometimes you have to get used to using them! (their tongs are weird but awesome, for example.) Fortunately, this thing is as simple as it comes, scrapes great small or larger zest strips. If you have the money to spend and enjoy quality gear, you won't be disappointed. If you're on a budget, there's a million options that will work well and be far less expensive, but rosle stuff is just so damn cool.

Rösle quality will outlast the dozens of lesser quality clones in your kitchen tool kit. This is a buy it once lifetime tool that never disappoints.

I have many Rosle products amd comtinue to like all their sharpness And feel in the hands. You wont be disappointed with this one either

I ordered the wisk and this at the same time. I assume the item may have been made in Germany at one time. It is now made in China by a German company. It looked sturdy, but in my experience Chinese Stainless is not as it should be, and will rust (why does there seem to be a different standard of quality?). The item was heavy and seemed like it is usable. Give it a try if you want, but when Amazon states it is German made, I expect it to be that. I have returned this too. Also, Why are three pictured in this photo rather than the one you receive? That is a little deceptive too. It is NOT a set of 3.

I own this Rosle zester, and like many of its other Rosle relatives which are in my possession, it comes in a sophisticated and beautiful looking, stainless steel. However, I didn't find this quite up to par with the other Rosle products. I found the zester to be quite dull, forcing me to really dig into the fruit to obtain usable pieces. And even upon such digging, I was unable to produce long strips of zest, unlike other zesters which I have used. So now, I simply use my microplane grater instead as a substitute. Save yourself some money, and skip this dull zester.

I tried on firm and softer citrus and could not produce fruit. I also bought one for my adult child and they had the same experience. Normally I love this brand and their products. Super disappointed.

Utter garbage, too dull to zest a lemon. China ruins another once great brand

i found this item totally unfit for efficient zesting. if there is a special technique involved i am in the dark about it. i did manage to cut myself and would recommend this item if you are looking for punishment.

Perfect Rösle product! Never both any product that I was not extremly happy with from them!

This zester is a thing of beauty!. It makes lovely strips of zest very quickly and has a bonus bit on the side to cut wider strips for garnish. A wonderful accompaniment to my microplane when I want larger strips of zest. Highly recommended
