There are better dedicated fabric shears, for sure, but most of those are also significantly more expensive.These shears are stainless, light, elegantly shaped, nicely rounded with mirror finish, comfortable to hold and use and have a sturdy plastic sheath/cover too - a nice safety feature. I bought them for crafts, not for sewing. They would also make great office scissors. I yet have to find out about edge holding, but that can't be much worse than that of the typical plastic handled craft/office/household scissors.I like these shears very much.

as a professional designer I have to say these are the best scissors I bought in decades. It gives a very satisfying cut. Love!

Works super well. Got them for my sewing class. Only thing is that they are kinda heavy. I like the weight, but it gets tiring cutting after a while

PROS:- Very smooth cut- Has a screw that I can adjust if I'm ever not happy with how the blades are aligned as they get loose with the years (as opposed to other scissors that have a stud)CONS:- The shears are heavy and have no protection around the handles so sometimes my hands hurt from prolonged use.

These are lighter than one would expect and that reflects their lesser quality - that can really be felt in the thickness of the handle. While extremely sharp and effective shears they would not be comfortable to cut out an entire dress pattern. They work well for my purposes, but I will likely need an upgrade in the future.
