Fit perfect..Bought it for my Infiniti FX35 easy to install a bit firm at first with little pressure I was able to close the hood. I would recommend buying this item it worth it.

OMG, this took 5 min to install after watching a you tube video and restored the hood rise to new or better condition. It was falling before and had to keep it open with a stick when changing oil or other maintenance. Now it literally goes up by itself. I can't believe no mechanic who worked in the car mentioned I could fix this for less than $20 and 5 min.

Neutral Review. It may fit other vehicles for what is listed. But does not fit Infiniti 03 FX35 or FX45. The Body mount is absolutely rigid, and allow only rotation on that axis. To mount strut to hood, Strut would have to lean inward about 2". Mounts are offset a bit.PHOTO1: Finger is actually pushing Strut, any more force to get it to fit would damage something.PHOTO2: This Part - Bottom strut. Old Strut that fit (top) if you notice has slight angle in body mountOther than that, only other issue might be how strong they are. Took full 190 lbs body weight just to budge strut so that I could rotate mounts to fit car. Unable to test installed to see if I could close hood.These do appear to be built like a tank. Good quality looking at them and holding them.Given the price, I do wish these would have fit and worked.Affected years should be 2003-2008 FX35 or FX45. Given these years take the same part.Though I would verify what you have with my photos - to see if it might be an issue for your car.
