Eder FlagEWC-S 1-Inch Aluminum Flagpole Bracket - Silver

I live in a very windy area right at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. I have had less sturdy brackets bend and pull out of the wall allowing my flag to fall to the ground. This sturdy bracket simply does not fail.

This is a solid, cast bracket that holds my 1" flagpole securely. The mounting holes are far enough apart that undue stress won't be put on the screws. Screws are not included, but you wouldn't expect them to be, since the manufacturer doesn't know what type of material the bracket will be mounted on. Mine is mounted on brick and looks good with its factory finish. It could easily be spray painted with a quality metal finish, if desired.

I did not want one of those flag holders that have 2 holes in them. Many choices with the 2 hole, not so much with the clean single hole look. Fortunately, this product exists. Strong, high quality, recommended.

Bought this after our plastic holder broke after a gust of wind. Very sturdy and good price compared to other metal brackets.

The casting alignment was scewed, therefor the flag was at an angle when the mount was attached to the house. To have the flag pole be perpendicular to the hose the bracket has to be twisted about 30 degrees. I was charged for return fees even thought the bracket was not properly cast.

Turns out it looks sturdy. Does not come with mounting screws or bolts. Would not fit existing mount space. Gave it to a neighbor. Went to hardware store for replacement.
