1 year later, still a great purchase
I wanted to write this a year later to give an accurate review. These boots are light and comfortable. I wear them for about 16-18 hours a day and even with the factory insole, they are still comfortable. Not much break in, but in the heel on the stitching, it wanted to rub a spot on my ankle. Fixed that up quick with a couple of pieces of medical tape. I work in commercial truck sales so I am on my feet a lot and I am climbing on equipment daily. I just wore out the OE laces but I consider those a wear item. No separation of the soles. I will definitely buy another pair when the time comes.

These boots are poor quality! Terrible!
These boots are not worth the $ they are not made for an operating engineer. My husband hurt his foot wearing them just 5 days! Foot is all swollen. They are made cheap! He would never Recommend these boots to anyone! There is no traction at all! He can’t wear them after a week he hurt his foot and they look like there a year old! Thank you Gina Cali

Keen work boots
These Boots are absolutely amazing. They're probably the most comfortable boots I've ever had. I'm on my feet all day doing maintenance for a public school district and my feet feel great after being on them all day. There was zero break in period. These boots were ready to wear from the time I took them out of the box.

Looks good and feels good
If you have a wide foot and don't want to break the bank, these checked all the boxes for me.

GREAT, but stitching inside rubs ankle raw, RETURNED ☹️
I really wanted to like these. The waterproof version is really comfortable but my feet get too hot. There ended up being a really rough stitching right where my ankle sits. I tried putting some mole tape over that area… not enough. Tried elevating the heel under some nice insoles I have and that didn’t work either. Other than putting a friggin hot spot right where a protruding bone in a humans foot sits and causes pain, they seem great, quality “rough out” leather, which was a first to me and didn’t notice it advertised, and of course a boot shape that is actually shaped like a human foot, plenty of room for your toes without looking like a clown boot like some of their other styles.

Literally no break-in period!
I don’t normally write reviews, however, considering people buy boots to work in, I want to give my opinion so that others may benefit. I ordered six different boot in various styles. Four pair from Amazon and two more from Zappos. The free shipping to and from was a bonus so that I could try them on and pick which ones I wanted to go with. I decided to go with these Keen because they were the most comfortable out of the box. The first day I wore them to work I was able to notice that I had on new boots. Well, within a couple hours I didn’t really notice any discomfort and by the days end it felt like I had been wearing them for weeks. The leather is nice and soft, feels good on the ankles, and are able to to be laced tight. The wide toe box is really nice, especially if you have to kneel down while working. I’m hopeful that they will have good longevity considering the price. So far I am happy with the quality and comfort. These two characteristics outweigh the cost of the boots.

Feet savers
I've been wearing this for a few months now I they are the only pair of shoes I'll wear when I'm standing all day. I put off getting them due to the cost but now I wish I had them months, even years ago. The first week I had them they felt great, no break-in needed. Now that I've had them for months they're even better. Personally I replaced the insole with a new one just so I have more heal cushioning - I've had heal issues and while wearing these boots I can't feel my heal pain at all.I bought these specifically because they have a very level sole. The raise front to back is minimal so my feet aren't sliding to the toe area and smashing me toes all day. I stand on concrete 2/3's of my day and that helps.
