Babyletto Gelato 2 in 1 Mini Crib, White and Washed Natural with Pure Core Non-Toxic Mini Crib Mattress

This crib is so beautiful. The color is soft and harmonious. Building it took me about an hour (with lots of interruptions). The baby really enjoys being in there; he is actually in there right now as I write this review lol. Also, it was nice to find out (as it isn't in the description anywhere) that there are four mattress levels/positions/heights. I have it on the second in these pictures from top to bottom. I will adjust it to a lower position in a couple more months. A good fact to know is that the original mattress that it bring is quite thin and doesn't seem very comfortable for this so I bought a 5" mini crib mattress; Which is the mattress showcased on the pictures. I used the 2" mattress that this crib brought for my Graco pack and play to add a layer of foam to that. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and so is my husband and little one.

Our 8 month old has an AMAZING crib from RH Baby in her nursery, so when she outgrew her bassinet in our bedroom, we wanted somethingg comparable in quality for our room until she moves into the nursery full time.This crib was just about half the price of her RH crib, and about 1/4 of the quality. It's looks adorable, but here are some issues:- The leg bottoms don't like up with the legs. It's a little Dr. Suessish.- there are some hinged bolts on the INSIDE of the crib where little fingers can easily 5het pinched. We have to get a pretty tall mattress to cover it.It looks great and seems sturdy, but the crib is slightly higher quality than your standard brands, at more than twice the cost. AND you have to buy a separate mattress, as the one that comes with the crib is 1970's plastic vinyl & foam status, and unusable.

No baby yet but very happy with this crib. We live in a small apartment and the space for the baby won’t fit a full size.The crib is incredibly sturdy and I know others had trouble with construction, but if you have ever assembled non ikea furniture before, it’s pretty consistent. All the pieces were correctly labeled with a letter.We weren’t totally clear on which mattress would fit exactly so we went with the babyletto pure core mini crib mattress (3”) and it fits perfectly and tightly in the corners. Seems appropriately firm.The top level for the mattress is still lower than a standard crib but we are fine with that. It’s a beautiful and clean lined crib and we are happy with the purchase. I will update post-baby.

Loveee this crib. The model and quality are great! It can take a little bit to assemble. However I would recommend getting another mattress, in my opinion the one that comes with it is too thin. Perfect for small spaces, we put one in one of our closets!

Decided to purchase this mini crib to use in our room until baby is ready to move into her own room.Pros: easy to lift and move, will fit through a doorway assembled. Comes with a 2" mattress that we put underneath our 3" mini crib mattress. Seems sturdy enough to hold a baby for some time. 4 levels to adjust, as shown on the highest setting for newborns. Looks cute and not cheap like some others.Cons: took my husband 45 min to assemble. Each corner post is not identical so pay attention to instructions.

This crib was by far the easiest crib I have EVER built, and with this being baby #6, I have built 5 other cribs. Its so cute and petite and pretty light weight. Fits right through my bedroom doorway, which is standard sized. It does come with a 2" mattress pad, but we decided to get a 3" mini crib mattress as well for extra support and firmness. The extra mattress also makes it less that I have to lean down to put baby down or pick him up. I would highly recommend for anyone who needs a small crib for a smaller space.

Easy to assemble. One leg was mislabeled ( both said D2) but all the correct parts were there. Just carefully follow the pictures in the instructions and set up should be easy. I was concerned about fumes/off gas, so I opened the package and let it air. I’m very sensitive to smells, and this crib was fine. I think the packaging may have a smell, so just remove that and let it air before assembly. Overall, so far so good. The pad it comes with I tossed ( it’s only 1 inch, not sure it’s purpose) and I have a 5 inch organic mattress instead, which fits perfectly.

We bought this crib after buying and returning a less expensive mini crib. For the price of this crib, I expected decent quality. One of the side rails came with dents in it, although I now believe it was actually a packaging issue. And the other side rail split when it was hand screwed to the corner post. It was very disappointing, as the crib itself is adorable and seemed rather sturdy. Returned it and bought a low profile, full size PB crib. Its the same height, but just a little bigger.

We have a small house so we wanted to maximize space for our growing family. A mini crib made perfect sense and we loved the sleek and modern look of the Babyletto Gelato. It took us 15 minutes to assemble, all the pieces line up well, and it feels sturdy. The paint can knick easily so be careful when you are screwing in the bolts. We are super happy with this purchase and can't wait for our baby to have sweet dreams in it when she arrives next spring!

It is great quality and fits in every room. It’s is small enough to have in the master bedroom beside the bed but big enough to last until they are 2. It also fits through the door frame so no need to disassemble when transitioning to their own room.

The design of the crib makes it easy to install your own without compromising the design. Excellent product, I look forward to upgrading it to a twin.

Love the look of this crib, but materials are a little soft and very easily dent-able and markable. Otherwise love it!
