This is the only vegetarian plain gelatin I have found and I like to make my own recipe without sugar. So for a non fat dessert option it is a wonderful treat. I just add stevia and citrus fruits for flavor. I love it.

Defective! Defective! Defective!
I bought 12 boxes Bakol Jel Dessert. One pack was empty, nothing inside box when I opened one few days after I received them. I thought it might be an accident that one box was missing packing. I opened last box yesterday, that box is empty again. Something must be wrong.

Recipe Needs Tinkering
Good product if you want to avoid animal product gelatin. Recipe on box makes rubbery jello. Increase fruit juice to 3 cups for better consistency. Refrigerate overnight. Grandkids like it made with Juicy Juice.

Out of a 12 pac 4 boxes were empty. QA issue on the manufacturing line. I’ll buy from a store next time.

Not unflavored. Has a distinct sour taste. Sent them back.

Big weight discrepancy unflavored versus flavored Bakol Jel
Very disappointed only 0.3 ounce per package. My recipe calls for 3 Tbsp. Any flavor of Bakol Jel comes in 3 oz. package...quite a difference!
