My son dotes on the book. It has really caught his attention.

Book is really great, I mean really great. It is very helpful for anyone who wants it and wants to learn something (sorry everything) about making comics and understanding them The print quality is really nice and the illustrations seem like are drawn by me on the paper itself. But the reason I gave it 3 stars was because the book is jolly expensive and the cover was folded and the book torn from one side, also the number of pages mentioned here are 192 but in the book there are only 160 (But i really was expecting 138 only lmao). The shipping wasn't the best but the book itself is great enough to cover it.

The Book Is Great! It shows how to draw the single pencilling into a nice comic book. It's totally from A TO Z how to draw comic books and iam satisfied from it!

Pour les gens s'intéressant au dessin, sachez que malgré quelques notions de base qui sont énoncées, il est préférable d'avoir pratiqué un minimum le dessin auparavant. Cependant avec de la détermination on arrive à tout! Livre très ludique et enrichissant à lire, le style d'écriture crée comme une connexion avec le lecteur... tout simplement puissant! Je le recommande fortement avant que ce livre ne disparaisse de la circulation, comme nombre de très bons bouquins sur le dessin qui sont désormais introuvables! Vous allez vous régaler ;)

どういう目的でこの本を購入しようとしているかによって星のつけ方も変わってくると思いますが、 デザイン技法のひとつとしてアメコミ画風を考えている人にはあまり役に立たない本です。 内容は、タイトル通りアメリカ人がアメリカ人向けに漫画の描き方の初歩を手ほどきしているもので、 殆どがパース絵を用いたポーズのつけ方や、三点透視法などを使った建物の描き方等、基本中の基本が英語で書かれています。なので、日本で日本人向けの漫画を描こうという人は日本人向けに日本語で書かれたHowTo本の方が役に立つし、すでにある程度イラストが描ける人なら殆どの人が体得している内容なので、わざわざ買うほどのこともないと思います。 また完成されたアメコミ独特の画や効果音の描写など、殆どの日本人がイメージしている「いかにも！」なアメコミというものがあまり載っていないので、デザインサンプルとしても使い道は殆どありません。 使い道としては、カフェなんかで英字新聞やフランス語の雑誌がサマになるように、仕事場のテーブルの上に無造作に置いといて、やってきた友人たちにさりげなくデザイナーらしさをアピールするのに使えそうなくらいかな･･･。

Este libro enseña cómo lograr el estilo Marvel, aborda temas como proporción de figura humana, perspectiva, composición de viñetas entre otros, con muchos ejemplos, muy recomendable para quién va empezando a aprender a realizar cómics. Aunque si eres alguien con conocimientos en el tema, puede resultar muy básico y algo antigüo, aún así puedes aprender un par de cosas nuevas de mucho valor.
