Feels great to feel the ground
Buy half a size larger than your normal size. Feels great. A little water resistant and as they are suede ish then you would think.

Fits like a Vapour Globe
Wow. Light. Flexible. Barely there. Better looking and cheaper than Vivo Barefoot, who command a slightly annoying market niche. The Merrell version—the vapour glove iii—is a Vivo killer. I call them Spidey Shoes. they are so light and grippy they actually make you want to run and dance down the street, and have a go at parkour off the walls (even at age 49)... the soles are incredibly grippy... to the point of being incredibly loud if you scuff them on a shiny floor... but can be a little slippy in the wet compared to my other trainers, the also incredible Rebok Nano X1s... A great buy! I hope they last... they obviously weather with wear, rain etc... but no signs of tear yet... They are well made, look good... draw looks.. love the colour. Would definitley buy again, if I had to! Meanwhile I am Spider Man. :-)

Style over substance
PROS:Very lightVery flexibleLook greatCONSFeel restrictiveThin soleNo cushionI'd be surprised if the sole was more than 0.5cm thick and you will feel every last stone underfoot. They're very flexible which I like, and in that respect they're similar to a beige pair of Clarks I already own. I envisage wearing them in the summer only, they're like beach pumps. But for £79 they're way overpriced and not at all worth the money. If I wasn't spreading the cost over 5 payments, I'd be sending them back. Only buy them if they if they go on offer, or if you buy them over 5 payments. Otherwise, they're just not worth it.EDIT:For some reason each shoe has different length laces, and the shorter of the two was far too short, so I had to go and buy 140cm 4mm round laces. Disappointing.

Rowing shoe
Bought this following the demise of my old Addidas trainers. I train a lot using a concept 2 indoor rower - 30-40k a week. So I looked at reviews for a recommended trainer for rowing. Up popped these as highly recommended. I looked on Amazon and they were an excellent price so purchased. When I opened the box they are a bit strange in terms of design. However, as a rowing shoe excellent. I get a connection with the rower that was not previously the case. So as a rowing shoe excellent. Can’t really comment on what else they might be used for. Something where connection of the foot is important I would assume.

Unusual but striking appearance
Bought to wear in the summer mainly, and whilst mostly comfortable can get a little too hot. Nice styling and colour. Stands out amongst the usual mass of trainers etc..

Got what I expected from the product description.

300 miles later...
My pair of Vapor Glove 3 shoes lasted me for 300 miles. Of that I would say 90 miles were country lanes and what could be considered “trails”. All in all I would say a good performance, although I wished the sole had lasted longer.Other than that, this shoe is well made and fits true to size. I would measure the foot rather than going by UK size numbers. One slightly annoying thing was a flopping sound of the shoes for the first 20 miles or so.

Shoes.
Comfy enough for me to buy a second pair that's for sure.
