New Redesigned Instant Screen

The Best There Is
I'm astounded that people can post negatively about this screen. This is the ONLY net that pops up in literally 1 second. The build quality is phenomenal, the net is wound aroudn the frame to add strength and handles me 5'8" 222lbs 50" chest hitting 12" softballs with a composit bat without issue. The adjustment to make the screen tighter is a functional strong, self locking, slide tie down on each side and to complement the stability there are 4 stakes, 2 front and 2 back, which go into grass only without issue. I tried other supposed "instant nets" or "1 minute setup" which are complete BS, it's more like putting together a tent with weak plastic joints. I use this with my 3 year old too and the other brands were too hard to put together before he took them back apart lol. As far as folding down it's really not difficult without the video. Tha paper instructions are clear the colors go together then it folds like windshield sunshades. The video is just a bonus if you need to get the motion down which is cool to include. Also, MINE DID COME WITH THE STRIKE ZONE so don't buy into the really old reviews or people commneting about something they didn't even buy direct from the manufacturer. I would like an even bigger version to be created just for the few times an outing that I don't make a good swing and pop a ball just over the net but that's really on me.

Updated after 4 months of use: Meets and Exceeds Expectations.
My daughter has only used this once so far, but I am impressed with the construction, ease of setup and ease of teardown. The metal frame is much more robust than I imagined. The netting is strong and much tighter than expected (I am confident that it would easily stop a golf ball). All the talk about how difficult it is to pack away is overblown. Careful inspection of the supplied instructions made everything easy. For those still struggling 1) release the tension on the support straps. 2) You need to "pop" the upper frame to the rear position in order to close it. Best way to think of it is turning the frame inside-out. The frame should be dished (front and top in the air and not on the ground when the logo - front section thst sits on the ground as you are using the screen - is face-up) and not arched. I see no reason this will not provide years of use.**** Update 9/22/2016 ****My daughter has now been using this for over 4-months, including 4-times a week for the last 4-weeks for her entire 10U team to use for off-T hitting to work on form and while on-deck at games. Other than a few bent stakes (easily corrected) and some minor fraying of the net (entirely expected) it is holding up very well - even against a few hard swings into the poles. Still find it very easy to set up a tear down. One item I would like to see improved upon is the strike-zone. Need to be able to adjust it lower and smaller. It is entirely to large and too high for girls of this age. To compensate at the moment, I am simply clipping the straps to the edge of the net further down to bring the entire zone lower.

This is a great screen!!
I ordered this for my 11 year old son. Use it for hitting off a tee to refine his hitting mechanics. I purchased this from the Amazon Warehouse as USED. WOW..not only did the vendor send this in < 5 days (from California), but I don't know why it was considered "use" because I could not find anything wrong with this screen. It was sealed in plastic and I did not noticed any tears or defects in this item. I'd recommend purchasing from the Amazon Warehouse because you may end up getting a great deal on item (I saved $ 50 compared to buying it new).Use of the screen. I've used it in our garage during a rainy day. Just fits. It sets up in < 1 min. Just open it up and it springs open. There's a black elastic band that keeps it in it's circular shape when stored away. The screen has two blue strips on each side of the screen that are attached to adjustable clips to pull the screen (when sitting upright) forward and into an L shape. The screen will sit upright in an L shape on concrete with no problem. It comes with some metal pegs that are like "T's" that help you secure the screen on the grass. Haven't used them yet, but they look very sturdy. There's a pocket to catch the balls when you hit into the screen. The Red Strike strip just hangs in the middle of the screen. It's not perfectly straight, but your son/daughter can aim for the strike zone. The only tough part is folding it up. It takes a few tries, but once you get use to it, it is rather easy to fold up. It's about 14 lbs, but it comes with a carrying bag with handles to transport.I highly recommend this screen at regular or if you can get it at the Amazon Warehouse for a discounted price.Great price and great items. Thanks Amazon!

Excellent, worth the money
Purchased this for my 12u girls fast pitch team. Set up is a breeze. The kids find in quite humorous to see us fling it out and watch it flop open on its own. It comes with stakes for if it's windy out. We didn't bother to set it up the day we had 30mph sustained winds with 50mph gusts, but did set it up the next day with 15mph winds. The wind was blowing right at it so it was tipping over backwards. We put the stakes in just the front spots and that worked just fine. Comes with nice metal stakes instead of the dumb plastic ones. Taking back down was a little tougher, but after reading the instructions and watching a youtube video a couple of times, we figured it out and can now pop it back down without issue. The 36" circle, when it's collapsed, is pretty big, but it does fit nicely in my high-walled collapsible wagon with the ball buckets. Can't comment on its durability yet, as we've only used it for one weekend, but it seems to be made of high quality material. The size of the net is great. We used it to hit off a tee into during warmups and had very few balls miss and go over the top. I highly recommend this net over the pole style ones.
