Clamps look and feel to be very well made. I have not tried them in the field but, I did clamp it on a piece of conduit with my Nikon camera attached and It had no issue holding it without slipping.

These "crab clamps" turned out to be a good buy...grip is strong and mounting on light stands, tripods and so forth was easy. I also purchased some small ball heads and those together with these clamps are just what I needed.

I have not used them in an actual photo shoot yet, but they seem to be very well made and perfect for the light weight application I needed.

Like several previous reviews I found the rubber grip pads inside the jaws to be useless. Under the stress of a vertical load they gradually appear out the top as the clamp itself slowly slides downward. The clamp is good vertically, but good without the glued-on tape. Do yourself a favor - If using for vertical loads peel the tape off and just tighten down the bare jaws.Horizontal loads have no good solution. Move on to another product.

These are well made, and the metal parts are fine, but the adhesive that holds on the rubber pads is too soft, so the pads slide off while the clamps are in use, leaving the clamps loose -- which can be catastrophic.I find this style of clamp to be very useful, and I have not had this problem with the equivalent clamps from Camvate and SmallRig.

I used this on my side by side today with my action cam and it worked wonderful
