Put this up on a Monday while tossing back some cold ones and ended up drinking straight through Wednesday. Wasn't til then that I realized that the hands were rubbing against each other and slowing down time. Once I bent them a bit I was able to get them back on time. Back to work to find that my job had been taken by some dude that had a nicer clock than me.In the end it all worked out because I bent the hands back so they would rub again and I have eternal youth now.I'd check to make sure the hands aren't rubbing before you put your faith in this clock. Other than that it's pretty cool for a cheap time piece.

Clock arrived in good condition. We liked how light weight it is, can hang it on a shoe string. The second hand got stuck the first night. No biggie we just bent it out a little bit. The statement that it is silent is laughable. It ticks loud enough for all to hear ten feet away. That is not a biggie either, never heard a mechanical one that was silent. Overall the looks over rode everything; it fits right into our rustic kitchen and we are more than happy. Price was great as well.

I bought this clock for what will eventually be a 2nd den/study. The reviews were 5-stars and for the price thought I could not go wrong. Granted, the clock looks nice but it is does not look or feel like real wood- more likely plywood - and is cheaply made. The back compartment where the battery (AA) goes and the time is set swivels around loosely - perhaps the rubber band is supposed to stay attached, which I removed as shown in customer review pictures or mine was faulty. Once hanging on the wall the back did stay in place! It's a good clock for the price.

I love the look of this clock. It's big and can be seen from far. It is generally quiet while house noises such at the tv, etc. are on. But, when it is silent with no tv on, etc. you can hear this humming noise when the second hand moves between the 2 and the 6. If you are trying to take a nap in a room with it, you notice it. But, overall very satisfied with this very nice looking clock.

Clock is nice shipped fast and has a great price! The only problem is you have to buy AA Batteries Carbon Zinc Double A Batteries for it the regular ones do not work! I have never run into this issue and had to buy some Carbon Zinc AA Batteries! Apparently the regular Alkaline ones do not work trust me I tested and it did not work!Other than having to spend more money for special batteries it is seems to be keeping time!

I was hoping this clock would be much quieter than my current kitchen clock with a second hand, but not so much. At first blush, this clock seems quieter, but in the quiet evening hours at ticks just as loud. Perhaps as the face is just paper glued onto a thin particle board, and the clock mechanism rests against the wall. I was slightly disappointed with the colors as the numbers fade into the similar shading, making it challenging to tell the time from even a short distance.

Colorful and decorative.. Looks nice but don't look too closely because it's cheaply made out of pressed cardboard. It's also not silent. The seconds hand makes noise while rotating.

We needed a wall clock and got this one because we thought it would look good. It is disappointing because it is made of cheap wood or cardboard. It is just screen printed on the front. So in person, you can see how cheap it is. It works well enough. It is just a disappointment.
