Screen Replacement for Iphone 7 LCD Display and Touch Screen Digitizer Replacement Full Assembly with Repair Tool Kit(Black, 4.7Inch, for Iphone 7)

i got this because I've taken it to a local tech store and it had damages immediately. the second time i brought my phone in it has worse issues than i brought it in with it was lagging it has developed black spots from the moment i picked it up and they refused to replace it because they said that it must have been water damage or it was drop i literally walked from the store to my car and then turned right back around anyways i decided to take a chance and just replace it myself and i am so happy with my results. not only did i realize that the shop i had been going to managed to replace my screen and also remove my screws. so i purchased new screws and delicately replaced the screen and the screen has no issues no spotting it was clear from the moment i finished installing. it was easy to install and had everything i needed. I've dropped it twice and i have no scratches or cracks i will be replacing myself from now.

I'm not a techie, but if I'm slow and careful, I can manage a phone screen replacement. I've done a few, and this one with this kit went pretty smoothly. The only trouble was that there were no re-assembly instructions. I followed the removal directions in reverse, but missed putting in the new adhesive for the waterproofing at the right time. I figured it out and all was well, but I'd have felt more comfortable with step-by-step re-assembly directions. I also followed a youtube video (just googled one) so I'd have something to follow.Anyway, the new screen went right in and it works beautifully. I've had a cracked screen for months because I was intimidated by the iPhone 7 and all the parts that needed placed, but this went very well. Took me about 40 minutes.I've used it for 3 days now. About the screen itself, the reviews are true: the colors are a little off. But it's far better than my shattered screen covered in tape, so winning. Also, the touch screen doesn't seem as sensitive, or maybe can't detect lighter touches, as with using the keyboard. It results in lots of misspelled words, but the autocorrect catches most of them and I'm sure I'll adjust. I'm still very happy with this purchase and would buy it again.

First thing I noticed when I saw the screen was there was a hairline crack but not on the glass, rather inside on the lcd layer. I’ve attached images of the screen, the cracks are somewhat visible. I figured it should work regardless so I went on installing the screen. This would be my 10th iPhone screen replacement so I’m somewhat experienced in doing so, but this time I was met with trouble. I installed it per usual, and turned it on to find the screen worked but only partially. The screen turned on and looked fine, but the digitizer (the touch layer) didn’t register when touched near the center of the screen, right over the crack. I’m shipping the screen back.

The screen works 100%. Brightness and colors all seem spot on compared to my original screen. There were two issues with this phone screen however.1) The instructions for iPhone 7 are incorrect. They advise and show prying from the top of the screen to being removing from the phone. The screen actually is held by a lip below the top edge of the screen. You want to start prying elsewhere and pull the screen out from the top last. Make sure to follow YouTube for better instructions than those included.2) The edge of the screen is marred and is disappointing to look at. It looks as if it had been rubbed against something before being packaged. I supposed you get what you pay for at $26. It looks a lot better than my old cracked screen.

This is a solid product. If you are careful and take your time virtually anyone can do this. Took me just under 2 hours. You'll find, 1/2 of the instructions are on the Amazon sales page at the end of the photographs section. That helps a lot, but there seems to be missing a second page explaining how to get the camera, ear piece, flash led ribbon assembly out of the old phone, but again, slowing down and thinking through will go a long way in not ripping a cable. To be fair, I really didn't look all that hard for a second page as this the third screen replacement Ive done on someone's iPhone. Lastly, if you have poor eyesite, get a magnifying assembly with a Bright LED. That you do not have to hold! Your going to need both hands and possible a third in the assembly stage when putting the connector covers back on. Some of the screws look like flakes of pepper their so tiny, take extra special care to separate them (in the order they came out) into the groups by the assembly in which they belong. Mixing screws can be be devastating. Overall I am very saticefied with fit, function, and quality of this product. I would recommend this replacement part to anyone who has an interest in saving money by self-servicing thier device and doesn't mind a very real risk of bricking their device.

This is a great replacement. Any reviews you see of things not working or someone angry is 95% of the time their own fault. They screeed something up while installing. The original ribbon cables on these phones are very fragile, and all screen brands are no different. It is very easy to break something if you don’t take your time.This screen went on great. You need to swap your camera and home button over (and any metal or plastic bits). It is definitely do able. Took about an hour and a half or so. It came with fresh adhesive and all the tools you need. Everything works perfect, camera and home Button. This screen may not be as bright as the original, but for $26 it’s absolutely perfect!

good product. i was able to restore my phone to working condition with the digitizer/glass replacement, take note that you have to carefully remove the home button along with the front camera from your original piece because this replacement is missing the kit. be patient in removing the glass gently with the suction cup as it takes a while n the tool to lift the glass is not the best. I broke trough the glass to create a good lift. careful on the side you open or you might accidentally break off a cable. touch screen working fine. thank you
