12' Intex Frame Set Pool Cover

When we first put this cover on, it fit pretty well. The draw strings were there so you can tighten it a little. It worked fine for a few days until it started to get windy. Once it started getting a little windy the wind started getting under the cover. We watched a small gust take half the cover off. The drawstring is a nice feature, but the cover material is so thin that if you pull the strings a little hard, it starts to tear the cover. There is now about a 12 inch tear on the left hole and a 6 in tear on the right hole. I tried using duct tape to fix it but the cover just keeps on coming off.I don't recommend buying this unless you have zero wind. I plan on returning this and getting another brand

I bought my pool during the quarantine because my kids were climbing the walls. Everything related to pools was either sold out or had insane prices. I ended up buying a giant tarp to cover the pool and it was a nightmare wrestling an oversized, rectangular, flat tarp over the pool every night. Our pool ended up full of leaves and bugs, yuck! I finally gave up on the tarp and treated myself to a proper pool cover and I am kicking myself for not buying this earlier! It fits like a glove, keeps the funky stuff out of the pool, and my kids can take it on and off themselves.Pro Tip: Leave your big floaties in the pool and use them to float the cover across so it doesn't sink in when you are putting the cover back on.

The 1 inch bottom of skirting that the drawstring is fed through, NEEDS to be 10 x's thicker. At least for a foot in each direction from drawstring opening. After covering pool3 x's, the vinyl has already torn from pulling the drawstrings tight.WHAT is wrong with manufacturers anymore? They make a product as fast and cheap as possible with no quality control. This tearing issue should not be happening.Maybe .50 cents of material per cover, and charge $5.00 more per. 🤷‍♀️On a positive aspect, I have a suggestion for all who struggle with simply covering their pool by themselves.I have a piece of Husky 4 ml plastic sheeting 15 x 15 that I cover my poll with. I use 12 binder clips to hold it in place. This allows you to cover with this cover as if you're putting a fitted sheet on a bed. AND the best part is, with just the plastic sheeting covering, the sun warms your pool fast 😊

This fit our 12 ft Intex pool. It installs and removes pretty easy. It was a good price and got here quickly. The holes allow for drainage and ventilation. I don't know if it helps, but the pool water is extremely warm this year. I definitely recommend this cover for 12 ft Intex pools.

This is the second cover we’ve used for our intex 12’ pool. Last summer we had one that had multiple holes (intentionally there from the manufacturer) and they let in so much debris and the cover was constantly sinking down, and the cover never stayed on in strong winds . This one only has a few holes near the sides and it functions so much better- much less debris gets in the water and we’ve had no issues with sinking. Other reviews said they added heavy duty Velcro to the vertical poles so we did the same and that helps keep the cover on perfectly! We have very strong winds and the cover does not even budge with the help of the Velcro.

i had my pool cover for 2 weeks and it tore.very cheap material and the string that you use to tie down came undone

It's good at a very low price

Like this cover but, and this is a big BUT if there is a strong wind/s it will push the pool cover down into the water. This cover has holes in it! 12 small around the outside and six bigger ones in the middle. Once a couple of gallons of water gets on top of the cover you cannot get it off because it just refills in when you try to bail it out no matter how fast you bail it. Pulling the cover tightly over sides to try to lift the cover above the water level does not work but just makes the situation worse as the weight of the water stretches the cover into an "always dip down into your pool water" shape. The same situation happens with rain but even worse by many times. You will have a cover that has many 10's of gallons of water floating on it that is now very very dirty with evey possible thing you don't want in your pool floating in it. That leaves you in a very bad situation! There is no way to bail out the very dirty water floating on your cover as as soon as you do it will refill in from the holes. My solution was to take a chlorine tab floater and stick it underneath the cover so it would keep the holes in the center of the cover from touching my pool water but then it rained for 2 days and filled the cover up with probably a hunder gallons or so. I tried bailing it and i'm telling you it is impossible as all those little holes (12) on the perimeter just fill the water back in every time you bail. I then tried stuffing dress socks in all of the holes on the preimter to keep the water from filling in as I was bailing this very very dirty water off of the top of the voer and it helped a lot but i could only get so much off before having to leave for work and when i got back from work it looked like all my work of bailing was reversed. Whoever put holes in this pool cover it was a bad bad idea. There is no reason to have holes in the cover.
