Q: To use these with the body boss home gym 2.0, would i have to buy 2 sets of these? it looks like you only get 1 of each in this set.

That Body Boss looks pretty cool. You would have to buy 2 sets. I watched the Body Boss 2.0 video and looked at the bands. You'd have to buy two sets. The BB band is 30lbs at 32 inches and stretches out to 84 inches (7ft). The 35lb band from WEINAS is 44 inches and the 40lb is 49 inches. The WEINAS bands will stretch that distance and more. The price for the extra set of BB bands, ($20) is outrageous. Another thing to keep in mind is that If you where to buy two WEINAS you'd be able to mix and match around the various weight sizes, where as if you bought extra BB Bands then you'd jump to 60lbs from 40lbs. Hmmmm, OK here is what I think you do first. Contact BB and find out why at 1:40 and 2:14 in the video and through out the entire video for that matter, they show 4 bands but when you go to buy you only get two. AND the 5th and 6th picture shows TWO BANDS!!! Call them on it and get your extra bands. Try that out first before purchasing this. But this product does have the added advantage of mixing up the weight on the plus side, and on the negative side the lengths are different, you'll still get a workout though.

Yes, they would be great for 6th to 12 graders. I would get extra handles...Also, I would get some extra 50 lb bands since those kids will be pretty strong. You can hook 2 or 3 different bands together to make it more weight but if you can get some extra heavy bands I would. This particular brand is also very good. Getting some foam rollers and vibrating balls would also be a good idea for recovery and pliability. I am a former trainer and 6th grade teacher. I think the bands are good for resistance in both directions and less chance of injuries.
