Nice Green Tea, light sweet fragrance and taste.
A very nice quality green tea. I relish using it 3 times a day. I would recommend this to anyone who is fond of green tea and would like to have a moderate tasting tea at an ok price, about INR.900 plus per kg.I'm planning to buy it again because after trying many other brands, I found this one to be the best as per my taste preference.

Takes too long to release taste
This tea is economical than others but the quality suffers for mainly 2 reasons-1) Takes 5-6 mins to release taste at which point tannins get release & overpower the actual tea flavour (Tannins are bad actually becoz they restrict nutrient absorption from food in the body particulary iron, FYI 57% women are anaemic in India !!!, read about tannins in green tea)2) Taste itself is not that great. Tastes mostly neutral if not ever so slightly bitter.I've developed these tasting skills after trying 5 brands over 1-1.5 years. With regular drinking you'll develop it too if you are a green tea enthusiast. My receipe:1) Heat water slightly above lukewarm (Test - when finger feels slight discomforting heat in 3-4 secs) NOTE - higher the temp, more rapid degradation of antioxidants. But lower temp means higher brewing time at which point tannins get released. So a fine balance is needed to get the max benefit)2) 3 min brewing time.I brew 3 times after which generally hardly anything is left in the tea for drinking purpose. Brewed leaves could still be used for cosmetic purposes (please throw the leaves in a plant/gamla, its good as humus for plants)I've tried (all loose leaves)-1) Tetley - kachra! I had so much expectation from this tata owned international brand but what they offer in India is basically leftovers! (buraada type)2) Lipton - okay. Atleast they have respectable sized leaves.3) Goodwyn - slightly better than above two.-4) Teabox - fair, has strong aroma (herby) but tastes like sabji(lol)/herb. Also leaf size is relatively small (dont know why they claim "whole leaf"). Tastes good for 1st make. Completely dies in 2 times.5) Kadambari Diphloo - good. Although it has ~50% stems which one only sees while brewing, not noticeable in raw leaves, still it has a good subtle sweet taste & can be used upto 3 times.Nobody gave me a single buck for praising any one brand but for buyers benefit I thought I'd give my honest 2 cents if it helps any fellow green tea guzzler zero-in on their perfect tea.P.S. None of the above brands give any "cashback voucher" for artificially producing good reviews/high ratings. That is a good thing. Don't understand why people sell their souls for mere 50 bucks giving good review/rating & then we complain of corruption in our country!! Anyway...Cheers!

I liked it.
I have been ordering loose Lipton green tea 250 grams regularly. I have also ordered Tetley Lemon tea 100 grams pack many times, but now it is almost always unavailable here on Amazon. Also, Tetley lemon tea is a bit expensive as well. So, this time I wanted to try something different and ordered this green tea.I received a fresh product, which was packed last month (April 2021). Packing was fine. Shelf life mentioned on the pack was 12 months. I got it for a reasonable price of Rs. 250 for 250 grams. The taste of this green tea is not bitter, and it seems to be greener than Lipton green tea. Lipton green tea's colour appeared to be same as regular tea.Otherwise, I am not a green tea expert, who can just look at tea leaves and say, whether it is clean or not. I just drink it and judge by taste, so I have attached a picture of tea leaves for others to check. As personally I have no complaints about this tea, and because price is reasonable and taste is good, I have to give it 5 stars.

Authentic and bitter
This green tea tastes bitter but is authentic. I have tried various brands of green tea and only few are original and provides directly from the farm. If you want non bitter taste then this is not for you. You should opt for processed non bitter green tea. I personally liked it.
