I have bought it , will not return

I'm rating 1 star to the company ROTRING, not the actual product. The product deserves 5 Stars as it delivers everything you expect from a fineliner pen. It's dark pigmented, smooth, smudge free & spill proof. But when you spend about 1K on just a pen, you expect it to last a couple of years. Which is something which didn't happen with me. My pens died out of blockage just after a year. I tried cleaning them up but nothing happened. I'm clearly not that prodigal to buy a pen worth of 1k just to throw it away a year after. So this is officially my last purchase from Rotring. I've switched to sakura fineliners & they are amazing beyond words.

it is not at all as i expected and these are the following reasons 1)it forms bumps of ink while writing 2)lines are far thicker than other 0.5mm pens 3)it cannot keep up with speed writing 4)maintaining the pen is cumbersome

Would have given 0 star if possible. It is very hard to write, in the sense it is not at all smooth

Great product will buy again.

I am by no means a pen expert, but this pen does perform really well. It is plastic, but it doesn’t feel very cheap. The ink flows very smoothly. If you haven’t used the pen for a few days you may need to suck on the tip or dunk it in water to get the ink flowing but it never stops in the middle of use. The only thing is that the pen doesn’t write at as many angles as some others do because of the style of the nib. (Ps. I’m sorry for the weird environment the picture were taken in. My desk is an absolute disaster so I had to take one of the pictures on the floor and another on a book I’m reading. I did buy this pen from a third party vendor, so your packaging may be different. The packaging this came in was excellent and protected the pen very well.)
