Great Box At This Price
I'm pleased enough with this box, I ordered another one. This one comes with a HDMI and OTG usb cable which is a nice touch. But you have to get 2 AAA batteries yourself for the remote. The box is fast, reports very strong wireless signals...much better than other devices I have with the same wireless router. I have had it for more than a week and it hasn't dropped the signals once - very impressive. It can stream 720p videos without buffering without any interruption...1080p requires some intial buffering but then also streams very smoothly. I use timewarner road runner internet. This box is preloaded with XBMC Gotham which is a stable release but you will need to set up the addons yourself. This is not a big problem. You can find instructions in youtube by searching for xbmc addon setup. This runs XBMC slightly faster than my i7 PC laptop running the same thing. The remote works fairly well but you need to point it towards the box a little bit. It's probably because of the clutter in my room preventing signals from being bounced properly. It works with my usb keyboard and usb mouse. I have an old logitech wireless keyboard / mouse combo mk300 but I couldn't get it to work with this box - if you guys know, please teach me.I have not tried the box bluetooth since I pick up the audio bluetooth signals from the TV via a bluetooth transmitter. The display via HDMI is absolutely beautiful in 1080p. At initial power on, the box walks you through calibrating the display with your TV and it's very simple to follow so you need to hook it up to the right TV you're going to use the box with. You can always go in and change it later, though. The internet browser works very well. With keyboard and mouse, you won't need a computer to browse the internet. This one will do very well. It's impossibly slow and difficult to type with the remote control, of course. The box reads all the files via USB sticks. I haven't tried with a regular hard drive - I had no need for a hard drive since I stream everything. This box has 8GB of memory which so far is plenty - I only used up half of that. If you need more, it has a microSD slot you can put your own in, up to 32GB. The memory usage is exactly like your android phone...actually you can think of it as an android phone without the phone but with the HDMI display. Besides XBMC, you can load all the apps from Google Play store.Nothing to do with the box but the seller is slow in shipping if you choose free shipping. The seller's idea of free is to wait a week before shipping it out so don't expect getting this really fast without paying extra.

Great Box at 780p
So far, pretty good. Quick, responsive, few hang ups. Like having an on/off switch. Unlike previous Diaotec products, this one turns off with remote. Picture is smooth with no noise, I only wide resolution were better. I don't believe it is any better than 780. XBMC is on the box when it arrives but it takes time adding the plug-ins you will need to get the content for which you bought the box.

good stuff. great quality. cheaper elsewhere but faster ship here
Absolutely bad ass. Works great but remote leaves something to be desired. .... good feel but mouse mode is slow and signal is sensitive. Fit and finish is excellent great streaming. Loving having added fusion installer and total xbmc to the box. Don't fall for spending 20 bucks on a xbmc key it's all open source free ware just use Google. No more sports devil but it has become another program a simple search will enlighten you. Sometimes sound cuts off just reboot this is common with android boxes just something to deal with. Great buy would recomend

For the price it's great..that being said the hardware is a little on the light said and being as streaming video relies on hardware for smooth playback you can see this can be a problem but if you are not a hard core streamer than you will probably be ok

Great performance at only 6MBPS, easy to setup, and tons of great software!
This is the second Diaotec MXQ I've purchased, and will buy again a third time if I need another media player.I bought this media player based on it's high praise that It's been given from many different sources. Overall it has satisfied my high expectations.I pay for a modest 6MBPS high speed internet plan with AT&T here in Northeast Ohio and have yet to experience any type of buffering during 1080P streaming. I run the sound through the HDMI cable provided (which is a measly 3ft long) to my TV and then from there to a receiver through classic RCA cables. The sound quality is as high as the picture! It comes pre-loaded with practical and functional software. This includes a decent file explorer, app installer, browser, and entertainment apps like XBMC. For those wondering, my MXQ came with XBMC Gotham Ver. 13.2 with tons of great add-ons already installed. This unit runs Gotham almost flawlessly!I highly recommend this! This is the superior unit when you consider bang for your buck.

The box works quite well once you have it set up properly with the tweaks in place. To utilize its full capability you'll need to install Kodi and follow the instructions widely available on Youtube to add the repository websites. Well worth the money and effort once you have it up and running.

Great BUT..,
So, first of all,it's a great android box. Runs everything flawlessly, including XBMC. wifi is great on this box.HOWEVER, when this box was on, all my other remotes became non functional. No clue why. I tried 5 different times.Same result.Sadly, I have to send this back.

Awesome box for the price
Awesome box for the price. I highly recommend this over a Dual-Core Android TV Box. There are far too many Dual-Core boxes and they're all cheap and under-powered. This box is very fast and my TV recognizes it as a "Google TV" under my input list. The boot logo is animated and says "MBOX, Color your life."The launcher included is very user friendly and appealing to the eye. It is colorful and has large tiles like Windows 8. It also has a one-click memory clear which is helpful (I like to hide the Android menu button for a clean, on-screen viewing experience). Netflix, XBMC, Skype, and some games came preinstalled which I didn't mind. They can all be removed but that's not completely necessary as there is plenty of on-board storage.
