This chest press machine is a hidden gem! Here’s a “fix” to achieve full extension: if you adjust the seat properly, you can achieve full extension with ease (I’m average height). I was able to hit full extension with room to spare in both the seated and standing positions by moving the back pad all the way back—with room left.I ordered the black one and took a chance, and I’m so glad I did. It comes in two boxes, while the smaller box arrived slightly damaged, all the parts were intact and accounted for. The screws came in one bag inside a small box, so I dumped them out, organized them by quantity, and matched them to the inventory list in the manual. As someone who owns a lot of gym machines, I found this one incredibly easy to put together. The instructions were clear, and everything fit great.Once set up, the machine feels fantastic to use. It works great standing up, and I love the optional seating pad that you can easily insert or remove depending on your workout. I’m a member of several gyms, including *Exile* (the best gym on the East Coast), and I’ve tried their standing chest press. This machine is better—and at a fraction of the price!The adjustable handles is 5/5 and should be industry standard in all machines, though the poles they snap onto are only drilled on the front. You can easily drill them yourself if needed if you want holes on the side or back. If you really load it up and struggle to initiate the first push, you can place a block in the back to help. Once you push off, the block releases. The only downside is having to reset it after each set. If you’re a freak like me and love modifying gym equipment, you could even build a foot pedal that hooks to the bottom poles to kick-start the first lift.The company is great with communication—they emailed me promptly with tracking numbers for both packages. Honestly, this machine is a steal at its price point, especially with tariffs likely driving prices up soon. If you’re on the fence, just get it.

JD why didn't you just leave the cross bars hitting the seat stability bar and seat position selector out leaving you a true feeling of dumble presses instead of barbell. That's what I plan on doing. After I negotiate a price with the seller. Frankly this is the cheapest one I've seen but you're video greatly reduces the price. And everyone reading our post should negotiate a price as well. Or just don't buy it. The product will fade out until they fix this overlooked design failure.

I'm very disappointed to report that I have purchased multiple fitness items from fagus & seem to be experiencing the worst level of customer service I've ever witnessed i bought this in the beginning of December it's almost Christmas & I haven't been able to put the equipment together cause I'm missing 1 bolt a bearing back pad & seat aswell ass floor covers for the feet I've corresponded with a rep from fagus multiple occasions & was told my missing items would be mailed later in the week during the first initial communication we had it's now going on 2 weeks & yet no pieces beyond disappointed truly bothered by the amount of money I have spent with this conglomerate of fitness companies & yet my first interaction of missing parts & trying to resolve this has been difficult to put it lightly

The media could not be loaded. I REALLY wanted to like this machine but, off the bat there were RED FLAGS! I ordered it and accidentally paid on the wrong card, I tried to choose a different payment method, it wouldn't let me. I tried SEVERAL times to contact the seller, NO RESPONSE AFTER OVER 48hrs!! When the 1st box arrived it was in taters, the second box came two days later also in taters, Never the less, I opened and assembled it, HORRIBLE INSTRUCTIONS! After getting it assembled I tried the seated press and was only able to extend my arms half way. The piece #12 is blocking piece #18 (a support crossbar, unnamed in instructions) from allowing pieces 15 and 16 (lever arms) to extend fully. Who designed this thing without testing it?!! Now I have to disassemble this monstrosity, rebox it and return it! Do yourself a favor, DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!!! In order to return this piece of... equipment UPS requires two separate return labels 1 for each of the two boxes it is packaged in. The seller is refusing to send the second label insisting the product isn't defective?! If I could rate negative stars I would. THIS IS THE WORST PURCHASE AND EXPERIENCE WITH ANY SELLER I'VE DEALT WITH, AND I'M INCLUDING EBAY, AND ANY OTHER ONLINE SHOPPING I'VE DONE!!
