Satco 90-099 Chain Pliers

This tool makes working with chandelier chain very simple and easy. The end section easily opens the chain and the middle section easily closes it. A great addition to my toolbox.

Absolutely great product! I have stiffness in my hands so I was unable to open the links. This product made it easy peasy!! Minimal effort to open.

I was able to spread the link apart on a 1.5" chain but could not close it. Works well only on smaller links. Had to return unfortunately.

This tool is a must have for working on hanging light fixtures. No combination of wrenches or pliers will out perform it. I used the tool to hang some new fixtures and to modify fixtures that were already hanging. It’s easy to use and doesn’t mark or damage the chain. When closing the chain, you can make the gap line up perfectly. I wish I had known about these sooner.

I had no idea there was such a thing as chain pliers! I've used regular pliers in the past and usually end up pinching my fingers or damaging the chain in some way. These pliers work great! I used them to add a section of chain to an antique pendant lamp and it took all of 15 seconds to open a link and and add the new section. No damage to my hands or the chain! I'll probably rarely use them again, but even as a one time use it was well worth the cost.
