Has held up just fine so far, looks great.
I was a little concerned at some of the reviews claiming this was cheap and the belt loop failed very quickly, because I can see that the method of stitching is not the strongest possible way to execute it, placing all the stress directly onto the stitches. But I figured it was only like $26, hardly a huge investment, and what do you expect for that price exactly? That's like two packages of cookies these days. But I have had it for probably six months now, I wear it every day to work, and I would absolutely qualify that as "severe duty", it's always getting caught on pallets and shelves, hanging off my belt, getting squashed against my car seat, and the stitches have held up just fine so far. They are starting to pull slightly but they don't look like imminent failure, and as far as I am concerned I have already gotten my money out of it and every week it lasts from now on is a bonus. The golden lettering started to wear relatively quickly, but it's mostly still legible, and it has gotten pretty battered and scratched. But that's what leather does when you use it, and I prefer a little patina anyway. The snap is secure and works fine, and it fits my basic Leatherman Bond almost perfectly. Actually with a little room to spare, do with the way leather can stretch and mold I am pretty confident you could fit a larger model without too many issues, maybe it would be snug at first, but it will fit eventually. So I have been totally happy with it and can recommend it. It's not hand crafted leather but it's a quality item, and more than reasonable for the price. Not some cheap single stitch knockoff, rest assured on that. I have experience with actual cheap leather and this ain't it.

Leatherman Arc
Awesome sheath! Made in the USA, leather, fits up to a 1.75” wide belt perfectly. Holds my Arc plus one bit kit so I had to sort of combine my bits together with the ones I use the most so no issues there. It will fit the bit extension with the Arc as well but I don’t recommend it as it looked to be pushing the leather to its limits. Again, for me not an issue. I was way more concerned with finding a sheath that gave the Arc a snug fit, would fit my riggers belt, isn’t silver or grey and isn’t insanely expensive. The color was a big one for me because I wear a lot of darker shades and often times I have on brown, FDE or coyote and the silver just didn’t look right at all. So what better a way to find a new one than to look right back at Leatherman. They honestly should have just put the Arc in this sheath to begin with. The Arc is US made, so why not give it a US made sheath? Also I recommend that you store your Arc Hammer side up, with the blade facing you and the Saw and file facing out. It gives the leather a nice flat surface to form on and will help break in easier and quicker.

Great tool, poor sheath/not leather.
Leatherman tools are the best!. I always have this on my belt and use it several times per day. Problem is I keep losing them so I order a new one. They are pricy but worth the price. I have several others of different brands and they don't compare. I wish they still came with the LEATHER sheath. What gives? IOsn't that why they were named "leatherman". The woven nylon sheaths are adequate but not as nice as the leather ones, which always get lost with the tool. The only gripe I have is the pinch point behind the joint between the knives, saw and file when using the pliers. That is a painful design flaw to learn to avoid!

Does not last over time
I love my Leatherman Wave, I was lucky enough to receive one as a gift when they first came out (still kicking ass). The holst on the other hand does not hold up to the same test. I purchased this Dec 2016 and am now looking for another replacement.Pros: it says Leathman on the side and the fit is tight.Cons:Stretches a lot over time, especially if you use it every day.Stitching falls apartBottom developes a hole after a year.Button starts to fall off after a yearI go through one of these holsters a year, I kept this one alive only because I have not found one that can replace it...I’m tired of buying these.

Quality product.
Very nice product. Real leather, well put together. A little nervous of belt loop attachment. Overall it should last a long time.

Good leather, poor stitching - Update, stitching completely failed, almost lost Leatherman tool!
This was to replace an older, worn Leatherman sheath, that had a broken belt loop holder. The pouch fit the Leatherman tool fine and my husband was glad to have the convenience restored of his Leatherman handy. The leather is heavy duty and nicely tanned - looked very nice. However, within 2 weeks, the stitching on the belt loop of the new pouch had started to come undone! I can probably find better thread and restitch it, but I shouldn't need to. I have not contacted the seller, but guess I should do so and then update the seller info. (So, Leather is sturdy and appears to be very good quality but craftsmanship on the stitching or material used in stitching is not!)Update: my husband almost lost his Leatherman. I have never returned anything before so missed the window. He tried to be careful knowing about 3 stitches were undone, but the rest came undone (with less than a month's use. His old holster last years). I guess I will have to try to make repairs but it is clear the loop must have been sewn on before the holster was sewn completely together. Again, leather quality is good but, it the stitching won't hold the loop on, beware losing your expensive Leatherman tool! :(

Ok this is well made
Ok, for those about hooping. Using leather men's 4 decades. They used to come with this nice leather pouch. They do not anymore. They come with a junk pouch by this. This is the traditional paths they used to come with. It's nice, it's always has worked in the past. It's still works wonderful. It's very well made by the ride size for your tool in. It works perfectly comfortable for all day. Where then carrying a leatherman for twenty five plus years now. The price is good.Thankfully it's not velcro has a snap
