I purchased this product to take on an upcoming cruise since getting my morning and afternoon energy drinks is hard when away from home. I chose the chocolate version based on reading other reviews and my personal taste. The seller contacted me, soon after delivery, to see how satisfied I was with the flavor, and when I told them I hadn't tried them yet since I was saving them to take on a trip, they offered to provide me with free samples of various flavors if I would review them. I accepted and received the samples and began trying them out. I found the wintergreen, peppermint, and Cinnamon flavors to be very strong and not particularly to my taste, but that is generally in line with my taste in general - those not being flavors I generally go for. If you are a fan of those flavors, you will likely appreciate them more than I did. Fair warning, they are NOT subtle, but the flavors are true. I found the chocolate flavor to be extremely nice. When it says chocolate mint, the emphasis should be on the mint, rather than on the chocolate. These are, after all, breath mints, not candies. But the chocolate flavor, in my opinion, smooths out the mint very well, which did not occur with the other flavors. I wouldn't use them to try to satisfy a chocolate craving. After all, these are not Girl Scout mint chocolate cookies, but as a breath mint, they are quite tasty and enjoyable. When it comes to mint, I am pretty much a spearmint person. For example, if I chew mint gum, it will always be spearmint. So the samples of spearmint suited me much better. They are pretty intense, so I likely wouldn't use them as often as I would the chocolate, which seem much smoother. But if I were looking to freshen my mouth AND boost my energy level, these would be a great choice. I will undoubtedly use them all, but I am quite certain that I will go through the chocolate ones much faster. The energy provided by all flavors seems to be quite good. So, far, over a few days, I have taken 3 per day, over the course of a couple of hours, when I was nodding off and wanted to remain alert. The boost seems quite smooth and not at all gittery. I like the fact that I can take them individually, over a period of time, and stop when the right level of energy boost is reached. The fact that you can put them under your tongue for more rapid dissolve and absorption, while still getting a rush of flavor, is also appreciated. Overall, I expect these to be quite a boon on my cruise. I will update my review once I have more long term results. But it appears that I made the right choice. Kudos to other reviewers and thanks to the seller for the free samples. UPDATE: Well, they worked great for all sorts of trips. They work so well that I purchased the 1/2 pound bag to refill the cute containers they originally came in. The containers are convenient for travel and easy to refill (and much cheaper) to buy in bulk. I especially like how easy it is to pack these on a trip and use them anytime anywhere since they are so small and discrete.

All in all an excellent product: they taste good (strong like an altoid, maybe stronger!), they boost energy without any jitters, the low caffeine dosage per mint makes it easy to get the exact dosage you're looking for, and for me they knock out headache pain for me allowing me to be able to focus on my life instead of pain. I've been buying these for several years now and will continue to do so. It's one of the products I will rave to friends and family about, as they roll their eyes at me, so I came here to rave at you instead! Let's keep these guys in business! They deserve it with this great product!! For years I've gotten tension headaches almost every day. I was taking Tylenol tension headache at least 4-5 times a week, and suffering a good bit while trying to avoid the need to take said medication. At some point I had a feeling that the main thing that was helping my headaches was the caffeine so I set out to test this theory and in doing so I discovered these mints. I had never been a regular caffeine consumer before then. I don't like coffee and tea is just not something I ever found a way to work into my life regularly. But these mints are perfect for me. It's easy to tailor your dose due to the low caffeine content in each mint (40mg, so about half as strong as a regular strength regular sized cup of coffee). Typically, if I take a mint early on when I start feeling a headache coming on it will knock out that achey back of the skull feeling within 15-20min of taking a mint. Sometimes I do need to take a second or third one to fully knock it out, but I think that is down to a tolerance developing after years of daily caffeine. In addition to that, I now have found a form/dosage of caffeine that works for me! So I'm now stepping into the world of being able to benefit from the focus and wakefulness that caffeine can bring. Though I do try to limit my use of it for energy boosting purposes to make sure it will keep working on my headaches.

I love these things. I always get drowsy at my religious services but I am not going to drink coffee during them. I can pop 2 of these and I’m focused without being jittery. I took off one point because while the flavor is not terrible, I really don’t like it by itself so I suck on a coffee candy with it, which makes it more tolerable. I do wish there was a way to order just one box of a new flavor. I don’t like any mint flavors, so the only other one I would like to try Cinnamon, but you have to order 6. Many say that it is too strong, so I don’t want to buy 6 to start with. I did see a sample pack with only 3 mints per pack, but I can’t find a way to order that. I’m ordering again today. I wish if they had a 3 mint pack of Cinnamon laying around they could throw in my order!

Absolutely love these caffeinated mints. I don’t like coffee or tea, I can’t imagine drinking a soda at 10am, and the energy drinks are liquid poison…..these mints are the perfect solution. 2 mints have the same caffeine as a cup of coffee, and they freshen your breath at the same time. I’ve been using these mints for a few years now and I can’t imagine a road trip, or a shopping trip to the mall with my wife without them. I’m partial to the chocolate flavored ones, they melt in your mouth and are delicious.
