Solid but expect to have to modify and tweak.
Despite no instructions coming with it, it was fairly easy to figure out how to operate and install this trem stabiliser. It allows you to set a fixed point for the tremolo to return to and, if you set the spring fairly taut, you can tighten the guitar's claw screws enough to enable double stop bends without much detuning (the low E still detunes a bit for me but for other strings it's either non-existent or hardly noticeable). The trem is very stiff after installing it,though, and I say that as someone who doesn't like an overly sensitive tremolo, so I may make more adjustments, maybe changing to lighter string guage and removing one spring from the trem to see if that makes it smoother. The biggest issue I found was that the tremolo stabilser clunks and clanks a lot when using the tremolo. I've experimented with temporary card inserts where metal meets metal and this eliminated the noise almost totally (the unit is very adjustable so I could tweak the setup after install). So I've now ordered some felt strips that I can hopefully attach as a more elegant and long-lasting solution. Overall thebtrem stabliser does the job well, but be prepared for a lot of fiddling about to get it up and running satisfactorily.

This is a stabilizer, NOT a locker...
This is a stabiliser, not a locker, despite what the answer in one of the product questions says , I could not get it to lock solid without removing the spring and adding two bolts. (There is no adjustment at all in the lateral pinch bolts, otherwise that would have worked). The two bolts I added enabled me to use it the way I wanted it to, which was fit it in order to lock the (double locking) trem against pull ups and allow dive bombs only. I also added an extra spring to the trem claw. I know there are other ways to do this, like a block of wood, but I liked the idea of having some adjustment. If the product manufacturer added two bolts to the package they would effectively have a whole other product, an easy to use adjustable trem LOCKER. It's well made, and easy to fit but its just not quite the product it could be. When I tried it as a stabilizer the spring action was notchy and not smooth enough. Sorry, cant recommend.

Awful
Doesn’t work. Ended up giving me blisters. Thumb wheels too stiff. No matter what tension you set it to, the block always pushed it right back.

Good fix for trems.
Well made, just needs fiddling around to get it to work when installed. I got some felt pads from a hardware shop, for chair legs and ornaments etc, to use as damping. Will probably get a couple more.
