It protects my apple trees really good
We have been having issues with deer killing our apple trees at our house. Last summer, a deer came through and snapped one of our 6 foot apple trees right off. At this point, I had had enough, and I started shopping around for ideas. I stumbled upon this liquid fence. I wasn’t completely sold on it, because I didn’t know how effective it would be. But I finally decided to give it a try. The deer are eating all the leaves off of our smaller apple trees, and they were going to kill them as well. When I got this, I sprayed the apple trees, and did a loop around my garden as well. The deer haven’t touched the Apple tree since, and they won’t even go near the Apple trees anymore. Last summer, the deer also stop touching my garden once I use the liquid fence. I am going to buy it again for this year, and I highly recommend it. It really helped me with my gear issue. I sprayed it right on the smaller apple trees, since they didn’t have apples on them. Once they start producing apples. I’m going to start doing a loop around them like I did with the garden. I do recommend you wear rubber gloves when using this product though. The spray smells like a dead animal, and it gets on your hands when you’re using it. It is not detectable to my nose after a couple of hours after use on the plants that you spray, but it stays on your hands for the rest of the day. I highly recommend! It actually works!

Smells terrible
It smells terrible but that is the point. The deer do not seem to like it and I have not had a problem this year like other years.

It works!
I’ve used this for the past 3-4 years. As long as I follow directions & reapply it keeps the deer & rabbits out of my gardens.Edited: the spray nozzle on this bottle is horrible. I prefer the option of different streams. This only has a wide spray which means you have to get down close to where you’re spraying, otherwise you get the repellent on you. I’ve had to transfer product to a new spray bottle with a narrow/stronger sprayer.

Nozzle is s***
For something that smells like hot bloody vomit, I would hope that the nozzle would be precise with its stream. Unfortunately that is not the case with this product. It gets all over the place, including on whoever is spraying it, because it comes out of the nozzle from every direction in varying intensities, and also drips from it as well. It does work with keeping deer away (I don’t know what living creature would want to be near something that smells like this stuff) but you have to keep applying it. This product also mentions that eventually the smell wears off and humans will no longer be able to notice the scent. It became less intense, but I could absolutely still smell it sitting a distance from the plants days later. But maybe I’m just scarred from having to smell it when it got all over me. Fix the nozzle.

Works like a charm. Long lasting protection from killer bunnies.
This stuff smells really awful but I guess that’s the whole point. It works great and lasts a long time - it even resists rain and daily sprinklers. I spray it only a couple of times a month. The bottle directions say it’s needed only once a month. The bunnies munched their way through several new plants before it occurred to me to order this product. Now they focus their attentions on plants I don’t really care that much about and leave the protected plants alone. I like having the little guys (the bunnies) around and so I don't want to banish them completely. I just want them to leave certain plants alone and now they do. The product is aptly named - it really is like having an invisible fence around a specific area that you define. Now everybody around here is happy - me, the bunnies, the plants and, we assume, also the nice folks who sold me this product.

First bloom on the roses was gorgeous...deer had supper elsewhere this year!
We've been using this product for years on our rose garden. The deer would always come at night and gobble up the first buds of the season. It was so darn frustrating to not get that first bloom after all the work put in during the spring. We apply it about once a month and it works like a charm. Nice to know that it's friendly to the environment as well. Smells like a mixture of garlic, pepper and eggs. Not the most pleasant aroma but the smell doesn't stay on the flowers for very long. We cut the roses for bouquets and the Liquid Fence odor is gone after about a day. Clearly the deer can still smell it though. The only downside is the sprayer itself. Particles tend to clog it pretty easily. Turning it upside down and shaking the container while pressing the spray lever sometimes does the trick. When it gets truly clogged, we just remove the top and drop the liquid on each bud...that's a hassle. The manufacturer needs to strain the liquid or change the nozzle. Otherwise, it's a fantastic product.

Love, love, love it!
Oh, how I love this stuff! I cannot grow anything in my yard because of the big deer problem. I get SO upset when I baby my plants, only to go out the next morning and find them all chomped off... especially veggies I'm trying to grow. The deer get to enjoy them long before I do. I have tried other deer repellents, also the Irish Spring, hair, man's pee, vinegar, etc, suggestions. None have been effective. But this stuff works! I kind of hate that I have to apply it every night (because of the cost), but when I didn't use it on the plants on my front porch (thinking that the deer never climbed the steps), I was so wrong. Thankful for this spray!

but the upside is this one does not plug up the spraying nozzle like OFF does
This product stinks, but it does work. It is not as long lasting as OFF deer repellent, but the upside is this one does not plug up the spraying nozzle like OFF does. I don't know why, but I think the OFF has more eggwhite in it. The active ingredient in this is putrified egg white and garlic, and it stinks for that reason, but it's a trade off for keeping the deer from munching on your plants, which I think is well worth it. I spray this on about every 8-10 days. No need to soak the plant, just make sure you go all the way around and get the tips of the branches or stems, because that is the part the deer are really after, the new growth at the tip is the sweetest to them. Then watch the plants to see how long before they come back and you'll know how often to spray. Not all deer have the same taste, so it will vary.

Fingers crossed
So far so good. Saw a deer go to eat poppy, sniffed it and moved on.
