Q: What side is the positive post on? Just want to make sure that it's on the right hand side

Looking at this picture, it is on the right. If you blow up the picture from the Amazon website, you can see the "-" and "+" stamped on the top in the circles.

Q: Will this work for 2004 polaris sportsman atv?

The guide says this will not work with my motorcycle even though it does. The guide is wrong

They have an application chart that will tell you exactly what fits your ride. I can tell you that it has enough CCA to start my CB1000 with no probs.

Q: What is the warranty?

I don't recall exactly. IIRC 2 or 3 years but check the manufacturer's site for the specifics. This battery has served me w/o issues for several years, and to be frank, for the price anything over 2 years and the battery owes me nothing (for the miles I put on yearly).
