DEWALT Titanium Nitride Coated Drill Bit Set with Pilot Point, 29-Piece (DW1369)

Great set! Exactly what you would expect from DeWALT. Extremely sharp and cuts a very clean hole in metal and wood. These are reserved for my Drill press. I also love the metal storage box. Not plastic like many other brands.

I bought my first set years ago of these drill bits. They were finally getting worn out and dull. I had lost a few. So I bought the same set again. Great set. It'll last your for year. My only complaint is that the bit holders are plastic now instead of metal. This was easily remedied by using my old holder. The problem with that is on the new holder, the bit sizes are painted on. Paint wears off. On the old holder, the sizes are stamped into the metal. That's my only grip. Other than that, I highly recommend this set. It performs well and lasts. And you'll never have to go searching for an odd bit size again.

The drill bits themselves are outstanding. Sharp, strong, and I appreciate the milled flats on the shank for better purchase in three-jaw chucks. Very good value for the money, high quality. Where the set falls flat is as others have mentioned, in the metal case. The bits flop around in their holes and the three rows are stuck together. So much better would be a metal case that let each row flip out, for easier selection. As it is, I will fabricate my own holder that gives easier bit removal/replacement and that holds the bits more securely.

Have only used a few times, but have used previous version of this set for many years. Great set. The metal container is fine and hangs from screw on wall. Last set in plastic case was also okay, but this metal container will hold up better I think. Got another set to have two available for projects. Drill bits have broken in previous set, but always when doing things that would be expected to potentially break the bit. So happy over all.

Triple cuts not the “best” bits out there but these ones work very well for the price and last with cutting oil.

Good quality drill bits and cost is much less than the same item on other platforms

Nice item, too bad the case is open and can pick up dust and whatever. The case needs a better design.

Nice set. For the price, Dewalt could have supplied a decent case. This case is USELESS.
