Got this for additional safety during night rides since we tend to ride public trails and the roadside. The lights are bright enough to see several feet in front of us and are very noticable to oncoming traffic! My horse isn't phased by much so this didn't spook him, but I did feel that it may have impacted his night vision a bit because he seemed to be stepping more carefully than normal so that's something to consider. The charge lasts for quite a while too- had a couple rides with it and it's been living in my car/tack locker and so far doesn't seem to be getting low on battery. I also like that each side and the chest piece is able to be individually turned on and off- makes it nice for stargazing.

I love the different light settings! It’s very durable and it’s rechargeable!!!! No batteries required! The battery life lasts a long time! The straps are adjustable to fit all types of horses! I also use them on my driving horses so we can be seen from the front/head on! It makes me feel so much safe when we have to drive after dark.

The product lights up well. I don't understand why there isn't a clip on the part that connects underneath the horse. It makes us very visible from a distance and seems well-made. There are warnings about using the flashing lights and I do agree for a horse one shouldn't do that.

I was finally able to try my new breast collars for my horses (I bought one white and one pink set)...I received NUMEROUS compliments and a trail ride obstacle challenge that was entered last weekend. It was a very cold, windy, and dreary day so I thought why not try them out. There are three different settings; steady on, rapid flashing, and slow flashing. To change the light setting just one click of each button (3 total light controls on each piece of the breast collar). The battery lasted for several hours on our ride and when I came back to the trailer the lights were still on. It does come with a LED rechargeable plug....Super Excited to used on both of my horses for years to come.. Bonus the company has a lifetime guarantee- policy.

I have some late rides and part of it is the walk home on the road, having this, I feel like I’m Rudolph infront of the pack, leading us back to safety. Very bright and the white light looks stellar on my gray horse ^_^

Great product and well made. Customer service is also excellent. I purchased the snow white and it is bright enough to get you home when the sun drops.

The quality is better than I expected for the price point. So far I love it. I haven't seen how long the charge lasts, but since the quality is good, the product will still be useful. I added sticky felt on the back of the nylon (and then a string of bling on each side), and it is pretty spanky.
