I’ve tried this brand’s instant white rice which was great quality.so I decided to give the brown rice a try. Same great taste and texture and doesn’t feel like you’re eating instant rice. It’s really good and a time saver for someone who doesn’t cook too often.

I prefer other brown rice. I purchased this for camping. It is great for camping because it prepares quickly while using less fuel and water. The taste is acceptable. Spices and adding to other foods can of course affect the final taste.

I am SO bad at making rice in the traditional way so this is a great time saver and fool proof. Not a TON of flavor, but can be flavored and is ready in 5 minutes and a great base for curry.

But the Minute box it comes in lets rice grains be squeezed out without the box being punctured, so the Amazon carton it comes in has rice grains that are lying around at the bottom, This should be fixed, it gets messy.Preparing Minute brown rice takes a total of 10 minutes and is close to being fool proof in terms of the texture of the rice.
