Doll Body and Bean Bag Filler Made Of Pure Plastic Pellets, 5-Pound Bag

I had been looking forever for the plastic pellets (i.e. "bean filler" or "poly pellets") used for hacky sacks, doll stuffing (to weigh down the bottom of the doll), and beanie babies. This was, at the time, the only place I knew where to find them.The bag itself could make quite a few hacky sacks/beanie baby-size creations. It's NOT intended to fill any sort of "bean bag" lounge chair -- you want the poly-pellets that are mostly air and infused with static electricity. These beans are hard plastic.I ordered these from an Amazon 3rd party seller, but have since found them at a per-pound price at "Hobby Lobby", otherwise known on the web as craftsetc. Since they offer a slightly cheaper per-pound price and free shipping (over 25), I don't think I'd buy this product again.This product is exactly what I wanted, and apparently it's a hard-to-find product, but it just doesn't have the value, especially with the shipping fees. I'll stick to craftsetc.On a seperate note, if you've got a really dire need to weigh down a doll, a cheaper alternative might be unscented kitty litter. When I was younger, my mother used it in the butt-end of muslin dolls to keep them sitting upright. Unfortunately, since I knit and I don't want kitty litter falling out of my projects, I have to stick to the poly-pellets.

I used these beads for filling a large photo bean bag.Pros: **Works well. **Will not react to water.Cons: **Expensive, wife filled hers with bulk beans for way less $.

Price was way high.

These beads are super heavy and probably suitable if are making your own stuffed dolls, but not really any good for a beanbag chair, unless you bought a whole mes of them, and then your beanbag would be pretty darn heavy. The bag was smaller than a pillow you'd put on your bed, maybe a third of that size in volume, so it is not going to help fill anyone's beanbag, because if that's all the extra stuffing you need, you probably haven't even noticed yet.
