I don't know if it works and I never want to find out! So I like it, if that makes any sense. Ok, the way I see things is that First Alert is a known name and... what? Do I go with something I can't pronounce or this. NOTE! Be smart and get some kind of extinguishers for your protection.

I bought these as part of Christmas gifts for my daughters and grandchildren for their homes...They were surprised, but they all said they could use one..even if they already had fire extinguisher...great gift, you just never know..

Needed these for our newly owned home. I was very happy to find ones that worked on different types of fires and are rechargeable. Fewer units since I don’t have to buy different kinds. No throwaways if you need to use them.

Unit appears well made and is easily mounted in its wall holder. A good item for small fires. The internal pressure gauge is easily read. Mine is located next to the furnace room. I have not needed to use it and will upgrade my evaluation if needed. As of now I recommend it.
