Very nice robust cooler. Keeps drinks cold and ice solid for a long time. The strap is very sturdy. Need to oil the zipper to loosen it a bit. I’m happy with this purchase. Love the colour.

This Yeti Hopper Flip 8 cooler is everything it is advertised to be and more. Yeti coolers are know for well made and very functional coolers and this cooler is no exception. I use this cooler this weekend to at a youth track meet that grand son and grand daughter participated in this weekend. Track meets are littler ally and all day affair, so you gotta bring provisions. I have a RTIC re-Freezable ice pack that fits this pack well and kept our drinks, fruit and a small bag of ice cubes cold for the duration of the track meet. I was pretty impressed with the fact that my ice cubes only melted minimally after about 6 hours of us opening a closing the cooler many times. In fact my bananas and oranges partially froze and a couple of my little 8oz water bottles had some ice develop too. I guess I will have to come up with a better packing strategy for the fruit though. This cooler is a well constructed with a easy zipper, has durable fabric, it's lead resistant and will last years. I bought this for the size though. I needed something a bit smaller and more convenient than my full-sized cooler that I got tired of lugging around at such events. Well this cool is the perfect solution. The price is a little high, but this is a quality piece that will be in the family for years. It's a great buy.

I love the new purple colour, I'm so happy it was out when I was ready to buy ansoft shell! We take this camping to store drinks in at the site or beach and its fantastic for this use and keeps the drinks and ice cold for longer than any soft shell I've used. Additionally, the shoulder strap is really comfortable! I think its something to do with how the strap attaches to the rings on the side makes it really nice to carry and doesn't feel bulky. The zipper is leak proof, so you do have to pull hard, but it does come with a stick of zipper lube to put around the corners if you ever feel its getting difficult to pull.

First off, I LOVE the color!! I wanted a cooler for a recent road trip and this was the perfect size not only for what I was going to be putting into it, but also where it was going to be located in the vehicle while traveling. It met our expectations and kept all the food and drinks cold with minimum ice packs. The cooler was also used for a weekend trip to hold ice, and the x-large ice cubes lasted all weekend in temperatures above 30C. Great Product, and highly recommend
