Looks great! The screen is so much bigger then the stock on. Though I was really looking forward to the off road maps and the cool looking off road screen that the x409 unit has. It was my understanding that this unit was an upgraded version of the x409 and it’s not. It’s vary basic doesn’t even have GPS but comes with a GPS antenna? Why. For the price not worth it for basic features. Installer was actually easier than I was expecting. It took me 2 hours following the Alpine install video. Update: Unit is overheating and shutting down after 3-5 minutes after starting the car.

this radio constantly dies during drivimg . Whjen it does there is no disPLAY OR SOUND OR COMPLETELY FREEZES. total waste of money, As noted no stand alone gps. when in moabit totally lost everything . Look elsewhere, customer support from alpine very poor. as stated no gps which they said it had. wish i had not spent the money. when it does work the sound is great
