The camera did not power up. No signal from the camera. DOA!Got a RMA number to send it back no address were to send it. Just don't know were to send the defective camera to.Quick response from the seller offering a refund for the defective camera so I said yes.At this time I decided to open the back of the camera just to look at the wires and connections and found one of the connectors not quite plugged in. So I pressed it all the way in and it's working.Then I sent the seller a message that I got the camera working and to cancel the refund. Then I received another message and they said keep the camera for all the trouble I was having.I really appreciate the the sellers because with all the problems I had at first with the camera, they said they will refund my money anyways. Thank you very much with the efforts in resolving the problems I was having with this camera.These sellers take notice in issues with their products by reading the reviews and I will keep doing business with them.

I bought 5 different cameras and tested them. They were all low lux, (.001 or better) and touted great images at night. Well one of them I bought was not compatible with the 850nm IR flood light, the rest were mediocre to abysmal in the dark, one didnt work at all. THIS CAMERA though, is awesome....but. There is a catch. On the side of my house, it is pitch black. I mounted this camera in that direction and after a few seconds it painted a crystal-clear picture like a light was spotlighting it, however, here is the BUT..... It did not detect motion at all. I walked in front of it and I looked like the predator or some spirit. Once I placed an IR Spotlight on the area, it worked like a champ. Folks, here is the bottom line, the processor in this camera can only work so hard. It does a phenomenal job, but you must keep in mind it will process imagery before motion. The more light it has to work with, the more motion you will get. if you have poor light, it will give you a glitchy - stutter step video flow. If you are looking to install a small discrete camera in a well-lit to dimly lit area, this is perfect. Hell., I had my camera mounted between my garage doors with the bracket arm wedged in the brick out in the full open and my neighbors couldn't see it (and they were looking at themselves on the video monitor while standing 5 feet away from the dang thing!!) The reason I don't want the bigger security cameras is because thieves then know which areas to avoid and can plan their approach. With these, they think they are walking into a surveillance free zone. Opps. So, I hope this helps. I am now ordering 10 more of these.UPDATE: 18 months later, I go to buy the mentioned "10 more" and order 6. They ALL were junk. The Chinese must have changed their manufacturing because these "new" ones were built differently and gave a split screen full of squiggles and static. I dont knwo what the hell changed, but I want the original builds back! I returned all 6.

Low light performance is excellent. I have four of these in service. Three are working 24/7 for almost a year. One was DOA. They are covert and dependable. Some minor pixel dropout but does not interfere with the image.
