The Original Vertical Fire Pit Grate, Chiminea, Kiva Fireplace Firewood - Low Smoke, Big Flames, High Heat …

I had a custom firepit built that is tall (22 inches) and narrow (19.25" interior diameter) in which we added a fancy top to convert it to a cocktail table when it's not cool enough for a fire, which is most of the time in Texas lol.I worried a fire wouldn't get enough oxygen down at the bottom of this narrow tube or that you wouldn't even be able to SEE a fire at all, sitting around it. Valid concerns with this design.But then I saw this stand and I immediately bought it along with a circular grate that sat on top of it. It's super stable. And looks great!Totally repurposed this item but it's exactly what I needed.I set a 1.5 hour duraflame log on the grate and it's the perfect height. It burns without any issues.This stand is very well made, durable, attractive, and portable enough (size/ weight) that I think we'll take it with us on our next rv vacation to use in the campsite fire ring too.Highly recommend.

Makes such a beautiful fire and it is so well made. This stand will last forever. I stand up 4 logs against it, 1 on each side and it makes a full, long lasting fire. If you want a smaller fire 3 logs work great too. This was such a great buy at an affordable price.

The first time I used my Kiva fireplace, all I could smell was smoke in my house. I started researching and found out that you are supposed to stand up the wood like a campfire. I never had a Kiva so I started looking for a grate that would work and found Billy’s Ultimate Campfire. It work perfect, burns hot and is beautiful! I highly recommend this if you have a Kiva! This works perfectly, there's really not much else to say. I leave it out in the elements with no worries, very sturdy and heavy/thicker logs on place with ease. There's ample space underneath for starter materials and airflow. I use this in a massive firepit, so I was actually searching for contact information to ask if there's a larger version - something 1.5x or even 2x this size. This is absolute perfect for smaller (or really regular sized) firepits. We went over board on the size of our firepit because I'm silly, so we can't use longer logs. If I had a larger version of this device it would be even more ideal.

I am a hobby welder and could make this for sure for less money.Someone, I suspect a very small business came up with the idea and design, I believe we should help smaller ventures when possible that is why I purchased it instead of making it myself.I cannot use it just yet because it would be a slap in the face to the fire fighters of this summer 2021.It is a solid piece and I think it will last a very long time, nice design, good welding and sturdy.I will update later after a few uses.
