Cheap, poor quality
You get what you pay for, worked with no issues for 3 months, now it shuts off by itself randomly and restarts a few minutes later. Tried contacting Vidapool for warranty, email gets returned and they do not answer the phone number listed on their webpage

Pump works great, Nice replacement
Got the pump installed with little issues. When it was first turned on, I had a valve closed on the return line so with the pressure, this pump built up so much pressure it blew the top off of my sand filter! All fixed now and it is moving allot more water than I was expecting. Pool is nice and clear. Time will tell as far as the durability of this pump, But so far so good...

Bought to make pool vacuum
I bought this to make a pool vacuum, i was looking for it to plug to an outlet. It’s been great so far.

Very Well Made.
I had to redesign my PVC connection from the New pump to the sand filter which was no big deal just a couple PVC elbows and couplings. took about an hour. Runs very quiet. I would recommend this item
