Portable Art Easel for Watercolor Painting, QINUKER French Style Adjustable Wooden Artist Easel & Sketchbox, Wooden Pallete and Shoulder Strap

I have been teaching and painting Plein Aire Watercolor for more than 50 years. I have spent most of that time swearing at the awkward design of my French watercolor easel. I like the portability of a box type folding easel, but having the drawer, with your pallet and water cup, stuck between you and your work is quite awkward, it is not a good design. It has forced me to pack an extra folding table to hold my equipment. At my age packing all that gear around was too much. I was in the process of modifying my French easel for better access and usability when I discovered the QINUKER EASEL while searching the net. So far it is the best thought out and designed portable Plein Aire Watercolor easel I have used. The QINUKER EASEL is a different approach, it is more usable and artist friendly. I really like the side trays which eliminates that maddening drawer. The design allows the artist much better access to the painting surface. Time will tell how the QINUKER holds up. My old French box easel is still functional after 40 years. I expect my QINUKER EASEL will outlast me. - Bill Gillham

It is not only heavyweight than looks but also it is goodthing with 3 tripod legs attached on the box which is comfortable to carry two things as one. However, all hardwares are very cheep and low quality. Many metal products as nuts, nails, washers, etc. are rusted a lot and green wood stains on the surface of wood box is tacky and incompleted finished. The most disappointed thing is too many metal connectors are attached on the box even it’s designed purposely for various uses.

The product is well-made, and very well designed for use for my watercolors. I am completely satisfied, price was reasonable and shipping was expedient.
