Simon & Schuster Mega Crossword Puzzle Book #18

I have been doing crossword puzzles since I was a child. I used to watch my Dad work crossword puzzles in the local newspaper way before computers and the internet. As I got older, my Dad and I would fight over who was going to work that one puzzle. I have been working crossword puzzles every day for decades. It is my go to activity every morning with my cup of coffee. I can honestly say that these books have some of the best puzzles that I have ever worked. They are medium to medium hard which I like because I don't get so frustrated solving them. I challenge myself by working them in ink. I do have my wite-out close by and I use crossword solver sites to help me. While I was browsing for other products, I happened by chance to see these crossword books. I didn't realize at the time that there is a series so I am going back and order the ones I don't have. I love the perforated pages and the superior quality of the paper. I hope Simon and Schuster continue to publish these Mega books. I would be really sad if they weren't available anymore. You can gain a wealth of information on alot of different subjects. For me, solving this level of difficulty sharpens my mind especially as I get older. Whether you are new to crossword puzzles or an avid fan like myself, you will have hours of enjoyment engaging in this age old pastime.

Enjoy these puzzles - I wish they came in spiral bound, but the perferation is fine - Easy to hard is good for your mood of the day!

In the last 5 years, I've ordered EVERY edition; I've completed all but 3 (they are under my bed, waiting to be done) I love the perforated pages; as soon as I complete a puzzle page and/or an answer page, I rip it out so the book contains only the yet-to-be solved puzzles and their answers

Have now purchased every one of these published. Not too easy or overly difficult.

My husband has been doing these puzzles for years. Perfect entertainment and challenging!

Liked the puzzles; the only complaint is the answer key is tiny - very hard to see.

Great books. Always a good thing to improve your mind.

These books have white paper that makes it easy to read your pencil markings plus tear out pages so you can put them on a clip board. Best books ever and they are the only puzzle books I will buy.
