I bought these in order to get a more defined line when doing my eye makeup, and they get the job done well, but I use them in a slightly different way. First, these are huge, so I cut them in half and use half on each eye. I don't have an issue with shadow falling onto my cheeks, I just want the definition at the outer edges of my lids. Second, the adhesive on these is quite sticky, and can leave a sticky residue when removed. When you peel off the top portion of the backing paper, a larger than needed area of adhesive is exposed. To counter this, I remove the backing and reapply it slightly lower, leaving only a few millimeters of adhesive exposed. This way, the shield is sufficiently held in place, but I am not taking off a big stripe of my foundation or getting a big sticky residue on my face once they're removed. These definitely work well and have made my makeup look better, but with these slight modifications to how I use them. I will purchase again when needed.

I really think is gonna be a game changer for me! Lovw how it helps with fallout and to my my eye makeup look short and it helps with my hooded eyes. 👍

Like many of the other shields, this one prevents residue but the adhesive is too strong. It pulls your delicate eye skin. They need to make the stickiness more like a post it note.

I have a tendency to get shimmery eyeshadow all over my face and end up looking like a twilight vampire. I've seen people use these in make up videos and decided to give them a chance. Several individual packs come in a box and there are like 3 pairs or so per pack Packaged well. The directions say to remove the top backing, stick under eye, apply eyeshadow, and then remove the pad. Easy enough.I removed the top backing. I stuck the shield under my eye. I did the same for the left eye. I put on some eyeshadow. Seems pretty legit. Time to remove the pad. OMG this adhesive is AMAZING. I was hoping for more of a "sticky note" type adhesive. No. This is more gorilla tape. I've removed band-aids easier. So much pain. The skin under the eye is so thin. My eye was red for the rest of the day. I'm fairly certain I lost a layer or two of skin. I almost went the day with the shields permanently affixed to my face just to avoid having to keep pulling. I haven't used them again since.There was no eyeshadow on my face though. So 3 stars!

This is my first time using shields, & they definitely worked as intended. I tend to wear eyeshadows with shimmer or some glitter in them, so I’m used to having to clean up under my eyes with wipes/micellar water, but not today. These went on easily, stuck, caught the shadow fallout, & peeled right off. No fallout or glitter left under my eyes or on my cheeks 👏🏼

If you do your eyes last these keep the fallout away from your face so you don’t have to do your makeup again and end up with sparkles on your entire face

Had them on for 5 minutes and they ended up glued to my face. Pulled my skin, left my face red and left behind glue I had to scrape off. They hurt taking off. Do not recommend.
