Used as a cardigan clip.Don't make the mistake I did and try and unscrew it though :) It simple pulls apart.

They're pretty, and they haven't fallen apart yet, as some reviews suggested they might. I've only used the big one so far, and it did pop open when it was holding a light-weight wool shawl closed for me. I ended up not using it at the event for which I got it. :-( I think they'll be okay for decorative use, though. (I went back and ordered some more securely fastening sweater guards for practical use.) I'm not sorry I have them, but they don't fasten securely for medium-weight materials.

I have a thing for pearls and have worn them since I was 16. They look classier than what I paid. They hold a sweater well. I have used them to cinch in the waist of a dress in the back, and that worked well too.

Purchased this for pinning under my zipper once zipped up... to keep it from gradually sliding down.It's beautiful and sturdy, but rather thick metal and dull tip. It breaks the fibers of my coat going in. So I put a pin at the spot needed on the coat through from the backside and run this pin just under the metal of the pin. Works great now! No more fiber tearing.

I fell in love with it. I’ve used them both for many purposes:- making 2 T-Shirts of the same length in layers (using the brooch to shorten the black T-Shirt used over the white one)- cinch in the waist of a dress in the back- close a sweater in the front- close a scarf near my neckI know it has more potential that will show up later.I got amazed with the comments that some ppl had the pearls popping up when holding a fabric. What I notice is that would be almost impossible bc when you press (not screw) both pearls basic lock themselves firmly.I read one comment mentioning “screwing the pearls” and I have even to try to do this because I took for granted that the pressure was the intention since you hear and you feel when they lock together.Anyway, a super product for me bc of the affordable price too.I love pearls and use them regularly in rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, buttons. So these add in my collection.By the way I got in here also to by me some more. I want two more for myself and also for a little gift.

Although the ‘pearl’ is quite large, the design is sterdy and the ends hold up to my active job.AMazing purchase, and I have bought a second set of both white and black.

This solved the problem for jackets without buttons that appear boxy when worn. It also can make a cowl neck into an asymmetrical side-button look, which is so much more interesting and also close collars that droop. I wish they'd make one of these with tortoiseshell ends!

Purchased these pins as a present for my mother-in-law as she had been looking for some scarf/shawl pins.She absolutely loves them. The beads are nicely sized, not too gaudy and are easy to hook.The granite/charcoal beads are actually prettier than the white ones but they both look nice and will go with a lot of her scarfs.Good buy for the price!
