New Classic Furniture Gia 5-Piece Round Dining Set with 1 Dining Table and 4 Chairs, 47-Inch, Brown

I placed this item in my basket and a day later the price went up about 50 dollars. I removed it and kept looking. About a week later the price went back down. I then purchased the table and I love it. The delivery guys waited for me to get home from work as they were ahead of schedule but they were very polite and kind. My husband and I put the table and chairs together and it took about an hour and a half. Not complicated at all but everything feels and looks sturdy. I had no issues with scratches and I had everything I needed. I love the look and the feel of the seats which are firm.

It is impressive how the manufacturer in Viet Nam was able to fit all of the pieces of this dining set in only 1 box -- but it's a large, heavy box! When our box arrived, it was damaged, but the pieces inside were well-protected by Styrofoam. Assembly of the pieces was easy and intuitive. The finished set looks amazing! We use it in a small conference room at our office.

This table was made very wellThe quality was better than expected. It wa5s assembled by the Amazon team. I highly recommend it

Cons:1) Even though it says all tools are included, you will need a screwdriver to complete this assembly (long Philips screwdriver).2) I would have electric hand tools available to do this assembly. There are quite a few bolts and screws to fully assemble this that hand tools would have taken much longer to do.3) Some lubricant like WD40 would also be useful as I had a few bolts that seemed to resist threading.4) Screws into seat cushion don't always "catch". I had one screw that flat out refuses to go in.5) Leveling "feet" do not turn very easily.6) No instructions (but it didn't take rocket science to figure out).Pros1) Clearly labelled hardware for chairs and table. They even had rubber bands separating what hardware goes to what making it much easier to organize the build.2) Threaded metal inserts! I have assembled lots of furniture and so many just screw directly into the wood. This has metal threaded inserts that you screw into.3) Very nice pieces. Does not feel cheap in any way, looks really good assembled.4) Sturdy. There is always room for improvement, but this looks like it will last quite a long time.

I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of the table and chairs. I assembled it myself without my husband’s help in less than 2 hours. It’s beautiful, sturdy and above all, great value. It’s only the first day but I am really happy with it.

I want to start off by stating that I give this set 3 stars right off the bat for the table. It's sturdy, well made, easy to assemble, and looks great.However, I give it zero additional stars for the chairs. They have serious quality control issues. They are a pain to put together. 3 of the 4 chairs I received have very noticeably uneven legs. 1 chair came with a deep gouge through the outer layer and into the wood. And worse yet, the wood base in the seat cushions is mishapen and not flat, making it sometimes impossible to attach the cushions fully to the chair because the base doesn't make full contact with the frame. One of the cushions in particular is so warped that I can only screw the front of the cushion down and not the sides, because the sides are curved away from the frame of the chair like an archway. Out of the four chairs, I was only able to fully attach one cushion with all six wood screws, as the other 3 cushions were too warped to make full contact at all six points.

This dining table is a lovely piece of furniture that is beautiful and sturdy

Very happy with the purchase. Looks very nice and sturdy. Have been using for a month now without any problem. The only thing was that the it was missing a screw hole on one of the legs when I opened up the box but I got replacement leg right away so it was not a problem for me.
