I have a -14 correction with a pretty bad astigmatism. Why does this matter? Because my glasses are THIIIICK and heavy. So if anything were to happen to them I would be genuinely blind and helpless. That being said I am on my second set of croakies. I lost one of my first straps, and the stitching in the other popped after 3 years of constant use and abuse and regular trips through the washer and dryer. It would be an easy fix but I'm lazy so just bought more.I have the large plastic frame style glasses. While it is tough to get the straps on my earpieces (as they are wide) it is possible and once they are on they are very secure. I typically use the straps while exercising and running. These are the only things that keep my glasses from falling down my nose and making running impossible. While not a regular use, I have also used them for cycling, swimming, and ziplining. Cycling demonstrates my trust in this product because if my glasses were to fall off while riding I would 100% crash and be helpless. In all these straps are simple, easy, and secure. Everything I want from a strap that I pop on and off at least once a day.

1. MUCH shorter than others who leave a "pony tail" of fabric up to 35" long trailing behind your head and down your back--NOT attractive.2. Longer "attachment" points, inasmuch as there is a kind of "sleeve" which goes over the sides of the glasses--it can be harder to get on, but THEY STAY ON.3. A better fabric; one which is less of a "dirt collector".SO, worth the extra money. Two to a set is perfect for day/sunglasses. Highly recommended.

have always use chums, but recently the chums kept slipping and loosening and the tail was bothersome - I do physical work and also perform with the guitar, so keeping the glasses gently tight and not slipping is important to my concentration and labor - these hold glasses in place and are not distracting from my concentration or stopping me from having to chronically adjust

I remember growing up in Sothern Califirnia everyone had Croakies on the sunglasses in the summer while on the beach. Snd they really do help keep your sunglasses on especially while playing sports. They are comfortable & they stay on & prevent your glasses from falling off better than the other brands out there. I even use these in my skinny reading glasses & they hold on to these as well. Why would you go with Amy other brand.

Got these for my Pacific Crest Trail Section J (WA state) 70 mile hike. I was looking for a sturdy strap in a loud color (I misplace stuff from time to time). I have fitted these onto my sun glasses and tugged hard on them and they stay in place. Just what I needed. The hike starts Monday and I am confident these will work great. As a bonus (there are two straps for the low price of around $10) I have an extra strap I can give to one of my hiking mates should the need or want it.

I use my Croakies on my glasses and sunglasses for bike rides. My glasses Croakie (several years old) was falling apart, time for a new one. I put the new one and realized that not only was the old one falling apart, it was all stretched out. I replaced it, and my glasses feel much more secure now, and no longer feel that they're in danger of falling off. I also replaced the Croakies on my sunglasses, but it was a bear getting them to fit over the wider stems. But that done, they also are much more secure now. I want to point out that I had my old Croakies for a long time, several years. They didn't fall apart or stretch out quickly, not at all.

Worked great for our trip to Universal Studios. Held both mine and my husband’s glasses in place on all the rides. Never felt like they were going to fall off either so that is awesome! The cleaning cloth is extremely nice as well

Opening to attach arms of sunglasses was too narrow; couldn’t even attach it. No instructions provided, so I don’t see how anyone could use these. Returned it immediately.
